Double Update! I am back to writing possibly twice a day. I am moving from the downstairs to the upstairs of my mom's house, because we need more space downstairs and mice are downstairs, like in the ceiling and I hear them. So, anyway I have moved most of my things upstairs and I have a new bed frame coming tomorrow and then I can move more of my stuff up. There is a garage sale, town wide sale, I can sell my useless shit. Back to the story.

Remus was sitting in his room waiting for Lyall Lupin to come and tuck him in, after he gets back from the Ministry where he worked to stop dangerous creature's from hurting innocent people. (I had to look it up. Lyall Lupin was against dangerous creatures, considering Werewolves the most dangerous.) Hope had put her son to bed and was currently pacing in front of the door waiting for her husband to come home. She was mad, no furious at Lyall for staying behind to gloat at Fenrir Greyback, for catching him, but Lyall should've been home to tuck their son in and read him a bedtime story.

"Hello, my lovely wife." Lyall sounded all too pleased with himself only to have his bubble popped violently by his wife's angry scowl. "You couldn't just let this one go!" Lyall tried to answer before Hope cut him off with a wave of his hand. "Do you know how many times Remus asked for you? I had to tell him that you caught a bad guy and had to do some paperwork. I will not bad mouth you to our son, but God help me Lyall if you miss another night for something so ridiculous again, I will murder you. I should throw you to a wolf and watch it kill you!" Hope started to yell at Lyall who went up to his son's room and left an upset Hope in their room.

"Hey, buddy." Lyall was quiet in case Remus was asleep already. "Daddy!" Remus jumped out of his bed and ran to his father. "Mommy said you caught another bad guy, I wanted to wait for you to come home." Lyall was proud of his son and loved that Remus would stay up for him. "I did buddy, and I helped to make kids safer." Lyall held his son closer and inhaled the sweet smell of his son, who smelled like chocolate and the library if their small home. "Did you use the spell I told you about?" Remus had showed Lyall a simple stun spell, but he had sounded so excited to help his father. "I did and you helped me so much buddy." Lyall got the biggest smile from his son before he got carried to his bed. "You need to sleep bud, if you want to be strong like daddy, and happy like mommy." Lyall gave his son a kiss on his head before tucking him in, under the Tom and Jerry blanket. "Goodnight Daddy." "Goodnight Buddy." It was summer so Remus's window was open to let the cool air in, Lyall didn't think to close it at all, and Hope hated the thought of having a magic barrier around her house or near her son, even though the small boy held signs of being very intelligent and a wizard.

Far away in the Ministry, one Fenrir Greyback escaped, killing some Aurors and getting away to track Lyall Lupin. The only reason that Fenrir had bothered to remember anything about the man was because he had insulted him and his pack. "You are nothing but a beast. A soulless mutt like you should be put down." Fenrir had smelt a young one on him and knew it was Lupin's son, so he tracked down the man, it was easier, because of the full moon. "Goodnight Daddy." "Goodnight Buddy." Fenrir heard the door close and heard Lupin's wife accuse him of not caring about their son enough to get off of work at a decent time for their bedtime routine.

"Well, trouble in paradise." Fenrir smiled and crept closer to the home in his wolf form, he waited until the family was asleep and he went into the small boy's room. There in the moonlight lay a sleeping boy, he looked like an angel in the pale moonlight, he had honey-colored curls, laying on his chubby cheeks, his pale skin was smooth and perfect, the little boy smiled in his sleep and Fenrir stopped. Questioning himself, did he really want to hurt this sweet little boy.

Fenrir could feel the moon goddess's influence and his wolf could smell the boy more clearly, his little mate. "Mate." Fenrir breathed out and went closer to the small boy, but the werewolf got startled by Lyall Lupin bursting the door open, and Fenrir's wolf was angered and bit the boy, under the full moon, turning the boy into a werewolf.
