"ELLE!! AHHHHH"I squealed in excitement as I watched Carly run toward the front door screaming my name. She threw herself at me and we hugged so tight I think she was gonna bust my organs.
Our laughs finally stopped and she let me breath after standing in front of me with her arms extended.
"Look at you! You look gorgeous!" She cheered looking down at my cute dress and half up hair in a ribbon.
"Not as gorgeous as you. You need to stop growing up. Aww your mother must be so proud. We really need to catch up, me and her" my mother gawked when she walked into the hallway from the kitchen. Then just after her, The Cortez Brothers filed in.
"Damn Elle. Your brothers are hot!" Carly blushed, whispering in my ear. I elbowed her in the ribs and she moved a step away from me with a scowl on her face.
"This is Kaleb, he's our age. Kane and Kian, are 17, and Kameron. He's the old fart" I introduced them to Carly with a hurtful 'hey' from Kameron. And don't think I didn't notice Carly's eyes lingering on Kameron for a moment longer. Go girl I guess. If you want that grumpy granny, be my guest.
"We'll it's nice to meet all of you" she smiled politely.
"Kian, can you send Alina up when she gets here please. And preferably without her pregnant thank you" I waved off the boys and led Carly upstairs with all her bags.
"So Alina is who I'm meeting tonight? And she's dating Kian right?" She asked curiously as I opened the door to my room.
"Yes and yes. I think you two will like each othe-"
"Holy smokeroney! When you said this family was wealthy I did not expect them to be this loaded!" She squealed taking in my room. "Damn your mom did good. Kylan must be hot. Hold up is he? I totally sense DILF vibes"
"Eww what?! No! Ew urgh! Don't ever say that again" I gagged at her comments. Just no. No.
"Ok sorry. Note to self don't call Elle's dad a DILF" she chuckled, sitting down on my bed, me not long after laying on my couch.
"I mean he's not really my dad. He's my step dad but I don't really see him as a father figure yet" I mumbled.
"Yet" she smiled, the hope shining so bright in her eyes it was like fire.
"Carly. Don't. Please. You know how sore that subject is for me" I groaned. But I loud three knocks interrupted our spiralling conversation and Alina popped her head in the room.
"Alina!" I ran over, strangling her into a hug. She gladly expected it and squeezed me back. We turned back around to face Carly and she was already standing up beside the bed.
"Hi. Carly!" She greeted with her pink shiny lips in a smile. Alina went in and they both hugged each other. I felt like a proud mother. I was a proud mother.
