Chapter 13: Forgotten kiss

Hello, I will keep this bit short, so here is how it all go down. You read the next three or four chapters of Dragon of Rias, and I can start working on Issei imprisoment. Deal? Good, enjoy today's chapter.

" What's wrong Rias? Aren't you happy to see me?" Asked Issei, as his smile became even more friendly and as Rias eyes began to form tears. She reached her other hand out to his face, holding it in one hand, looking into his eyes. He held her other hand, leaning a bit into it as his smile became much more relaxed, as a few tears began forming in his own eyes." Hey what's wrong Rias, don't cry or I'll cry too." He said, making Rias giggle a little at how he had barely changed over the many years." It's really you, isn't it? My Issei?" She spoke with the most beautiful smile Issei had ever seen.

He had missed this, these moments were her most beautiful smiles would appear, were she be herself only for him to see." Yes, it's me Rias. It's me Issei, your Issei." He smiled as he said that last part, inturn making Rias no longer hold back her tears, as they began to roll down her beautiful face. In a single moment Rias moved herself foward and kiss Issei for the first time in over a decade. No longer was just in her dreams, the fake and fantasy tampered kisses', but a real one. This was real right, it had to be.

Issei kissed her back seconds after, holding her lovingly into him, still holding onto her even when they both pulled away. Rias and Issei both looked at each other, breathing heavily at their rather long kiss, but it was worth it as they hadn't felt each in that way for many, many years." Rias, you wouldn't belive how much I have missed you. Being trapped like this for so many years, never being able to see you or my familiy, it was so painfull to just sit and wait for that one chance." As Issei said that, Rias felt a slight pain over something she knew, that she had tell him, but didn't know how to.

" I know Issei, but nows all over and we can be together again, you can live with me and the others in the underworld. You can become my.. my husband after all this time." Rias said, as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks, the same went for Issei at the mention of become married to Rias. But his eyes as soon as the shined with happiness, they became unhappy and dull, as a small tear rolled down his cheek." What's wrong? Aren't you happy that we can finally be together?" Asked Rias, not aware that the younger Issei was looking at them, his eyes holding a small amount sadness, as he knew that what she wished for could not happen.

" I can't be your husband, Rias." Issei answered, his smile gone, and his happy eyes having turned to sad ones. Rias was confused about what he was saying.' Why can't he? I thought that once this was over, me, Issei and the younger Issei.. oh. It's only me and kid Issei who get's to leave, isn't it.' She thought as she looked at Issei with also a sad look in her eyes, as she just sank into Issei, who held her as she began to sob." Why-why can't I be with-with you.. your the only-only thing I want.. so why Issei? Why?" Cried Rias, as she held onto his body with every muscale in her body, worried he might be gone if she let go of him.

" Rias.. there is no-no easy way to say this... But I am not safe to be around, not after all this time inside of here.. so once I am done here, I will leave for a perfect dream as my resting place." Issei explained as he began to pat her on the back, putting his other hand on the back of her head, feeling her sliky soft grimson red hair. Rias just kept sobbing as his words sank in, she wanted him to come with her, she wanted him to come back to her and live with him. She wanted to do so many things with him, tell him so many things with him.

" Isn't there anyway to get.. you back-back to me?" She asked inbetween her sobs and quited crys, which became a bit louder at the heavy sigh released from Issei mouth." There isn't anything you can do, I made my choice and that's all there is to it." He explained as he lowered his head onto her own, resting it on top of hers. They stood like that for seconds, minutes, maybe even an hour, they didn't know nore did they care. This was the last time they would see each other, so they had to get as much out of this limit time as they could.
