MARCUS POV:
I was watched as everyone scrambled to get ready as today will be our first day at school this human school. Ms.Joyce signed us up and they accepted us. Yesterday we spent hours learning things that would be simple and things everyone knows. Ms. Joyce got us book bags and other things we would need and the way Jayla was talking I'm kinda nervous about human school.
Ms. Joyce slide on her shoes and open the front door. "Aye remember after you guys come from school clean up, because this how starting to get disorganized."
We all said our okays as she left.
Moments later Janice came running down the stairs. "Dang just leave me then."
"Girl I am not your alarm clock. Also you didn't hear all of this." She pointed to us. "I didn't even wake myself up."
When we were all ready we all left the house.
"Bryson said him and Trevor are already at school so we won't have to wait for them." Janice looked at Jayla.
Jayla gave her a nod then put her headphones in.
Janice looked back at us. "So you guys ready for human school?"
Dylan shook his head "Nope, I'm going to wing it though."
"I mean it shouldn't be that bad." Wang looked around at us with a nervous look. "Right?"
"When will we get our schedule?" I asked her. Janice look at me before answering. "You guys will have to go to the main office then guidance counselors. Jayla will show you guys since she has to go that way."
I looked over at Jayla to see she wasn't listen her headphones were turned up all the way. "Right now she's not fucking listening." Janice snatched the headphones out Jayla ears.
Jayla glared at Janice. "You know how much I hate that just tap me it isn't that hard." Jayla snatched the headphones back. "What do you want? The mornings walk is the time I get to think on how I'm going to survive for the day."
"You have to bring them to the main office and guidance office," Janice pointed at us with her thumb.
Jayla looked back at us then at her. "Why me?"
"You're going that way." Janice shrugged her shoulders.
"Fine." She then put her headphones back in not saying another word.
Janice rolled her eyes. "I don't know why she complaining, in school she walk faster than usual. So it should be quick it's not like she's going to be late or anything." Janice folded her arms.
Neither of them said anything the remainder of the walk. When we finally got near the school a girl called out to Janice.
"Hey May." Janice replied walking off.
