JAYLA POV:
I woke up to something heavy on my back.
I groaned and tried to move but I couldn't.
I turned my head a little to see King laying on me.
"King get up," I said and he started to move.
"You are one heavy my guy," I said sitting up.
I patted his head and went to the bathroom that was attached to my room.
He followed me.
I was doing my morning routine when I heard my mom yell for me to get up.
"I'm already up," I called out.
"Janice walked King already," she said and I looked at him.
"So why are you waiting on me," I said with a laugh.
"You can't come with me to school," I said to him.
He tilted his head and whined a little.
"Not happening," I said with a laugh.
"After school I'll take you another walk," I said with a smile putting my toothbrush away.

I was on my way out when I heard a howl.
I walked outside and continued to hear the howl.
Janice came outside and looked around.
We walked to the backyard to see King howling.
"How the hell did he get outside?" Janice asked confused as me.
"Maybe ma let him out while she was leaving," I said.
His howl was so beautiful. The sun shine down on his fur.
There was a gate around our back yard so he couldn't get out.
Once he stopped howling he turned and seen us.
He walked over to us then rubbed on my leg.
"Let's get you in the house," I said and he followed me towards the porch and I let him in.
"Be good my guy," I said rubbing behind his ear.
I closed the door and I heard a him whine a little.
