After spending Christmas and New Year's with their families, the 6 went to Chile for the 1997 Viña del Mar music festival, which takes place during the 3rd week each February.

They landed in the evening with the intention to rest before the show the following evening. The bands were playing in the same set, so they were all able to get to the arena together.
