Eventually, Thomas and the girl came down and the gladers found out that her name was Teresa. All the boys thought she was super cool and really pretty, and she is but something about her just doesn't seem right to Y/N. "She is so hot" Y/N hears one of the gladers say, Y/N just looked at them and smacked her forehead 'gosh they are so dumb' she thinks to herself. Y/N tried to be nice to Teresa because there was finally another girl to talk to, but she soon found out that Teresa just wanted to fight her. The next day Minho went into the maze with Thomas and a few other runners but Y/N stayed behind because it was her day off. She tried to talk to Teresa but she just ignored her, "hey Teresa what is your problem with me" Y/N asks, "well you're annoying" is all Teresa said back "you don't even know me" Y/N says, "you're still annoying" Teresa says. Y/N just huffed and walked off, Chuck came up to Y/N and sat down with her. "Teresa is mean to you," he says, "I know I don't know what I did but she hates me" Y/N sighs Chuck looked at her with pity "All the other boys love her and help her with everything" Chuck explains "I know it's stupid, and I have a feeling that they are all gonna turn against me, all because of the new pretty girl" Y/N puts her head in her hands. Chuck had never seen Y/N this distressed, "I can't lose them, Chuck, not to her not to anyone" Y/N almost has tears in her eyes, Chuck couldn't stand the sight and hugged her "I'll always stand with you" he says comforting her, "Thanks Chuck" she smiles.

Later that night Teresa was acting all soft, and she pretended to trip and hurt herself so that one of the boys would have to carry her, And it was always Newt that carried her. Y/N had seen enough of her flirting and pretending that she stood up and pushed her chair back so it fell and stormed off into the forest and started punching a tree out of pure anger. Thomas and Minho had followed her into the forest and when they saw her punching the tree and making her knuckles bleed they ran over to stop her from hurting herself too much. "Y/N, Y/N calm down okay it's alright but she spun around and looked at them with rage "NO YOU DON'T GET IT I HAVE TRIED TO FUCKING HARD TO BE NICE TO HER AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID BUT SHE HATE ME" Y/N screamed, she had never yelled at someone personally like that and it made her feel so guilty when she saw the shock in the boy's eyes and how they backed away from her. "Sorry," she said "it's just been hard" the boys came up to her and hugged her "it's alright we have something to show you" Thomas pulled out a metal cylinder with the number 7 displayed on a small screen and the letters W.C.K.D engraved in the metal. "This was in the griever?" Y/N asked kind of disgusted at the slimy stuff on it, "yeah Minho says you would understand what the 7 ment. Y/N thought about the sections of the maze and the section that was open that night. "Hmm, how about we go explore tomorrow." She suggests.
