A lot of the Muppets are neurodiverse and/or gay, as made evident by Gonzo the autistic whatever, and Miss Piggy the iconic trans woman doubling as a trans queen.
Fozzie and Kermit are very VERY close. They consider each other brothers and balance each other out perfectly. They break a lot of physical boundaries sometimes, but one thing that must be made clear is that they are NOT dating.
It is impossible to tell Miss Piggy's sexuality. Mostly she likes men, but once in a blue moon a lady comes into her life and she's all "hubba HUBBA!" However she and Kermit are,,, ehh whatever the opposite of poly is I forget.
Yes, Kermit and Missy have a sex life. Yes, they peg each other. Yes, they're switches. No, I don't know who asked, and I don't care.

Gonzo the great is is biromantic and asexual, goes by they/it/he/she/any neos ever, and is definitely not a masochist.
Robin (Kermit's nephew) was an early tadpole, but he gets around fairly easily. He's also transmasc and Kermit is very supportive of him.
I entirely endorse one of the headcanons of that one series of tiktoks that's like "all the Muppets are trans and here's why." The one that I'm stealing for myself is the one about Electric Mayhem. I quote:
Janice uses they/she pronouns, Floyd is a demigirl, Zoot is agender, and Dr Teeth didn't come to this earth to be labeled. They've dated each other so many times you've stopped asking who's dating who. They're all gonna get buried together.
Dr Bunsen Honeydew (they/doc) and Beaker (he/him) are engaged. They're debating on making their wedding science themed. Bunsen kinda wants a baking soda volcano to be in the wedding cake.
Kermit had an apparent in Sesame Street for a while but in present time he just occasionally visits to say hi.
Link Hogthrob is a tad homophobic? He tends to call Missy trans slurs. He gets beat up a bit cuz of this,, like you should see the amount of hand throwing Kermit does. And Gonzo, Gonzo's gotten involved a couple times.

The original Muppets crew keeps in touch with other Muppet properties regularly. Like the Labyrinth folks, everyone from Dark Crystal, Fraggle Rock, etc. They send each other letters and stuff.
Kermit and Missy sort of want kids? Piggy DEFINITELY wants kids, but Kermit isn't so sure. He likes the idea of taking care of a kid, but he doesn't know if he can handle the responsibility of having a child.
