You're the only reason why: I really love you

Before they knew it, 10 long hours had passed and they had finally arrived in Phuket. Their drivers were already waiting for them with signs when they claim their bags and prepare to leave.

Seo/Lee and Bang/Yang were in one Escalade, while Lee/Han and Hwang/Kim were in the other one. It was about a 55 minute drive (which Changbin used to talk to Harin) to get to their villa, and by then, the guys were really ready for a good meal and sleep.
Satisfied with their rooms' locations, the pairs separate and get ready for dinner to be served in an hour.

Jisung and Minho head to their room so they can wash up for dinner. He lets him lead the way while he takes care of the luggage, only to come to a screeching halt when Minho opens the door and sees the view.

The floor to ceiling windows covering two of the walls showed the beautifully illuminated pool area and the mountains across the palm-fringed beach.
The room itself was gorgeous and very spacious with a completely visible en-suite bathroom only separated by glass.
He couldn't take in too many details when he sees two boxes varying in size and a basket on the bed, and his curiosity led him directly to them. He couldn't miss the giant black velvet rectangular box that was taking up the other half of the bed. Minho already knew what it was when he saw gold lettering spelling out "Venus et Fleur" because Jisung loves getting him flowers from there.

The basket was the easiest thing to open and observe since it had clear wrap around it. It was filled with a few of Minho's favorite wines, cheeses, spreads, fruit, and meats for the ultimate charcuterie board.

"A small thank you gift for coming on this trip with me.
Enjoy ❤️"
said the simple yet cute note.

"Aww thank you baby." Minho turns around to hug him, but Jisung laughs and tells him that he should open the others first before he starts thanking him.
He turns him back around and kisses his cheek when he reaches for the next box Jisung instructs him to open.
The look of shock and slight confusion graces his face when he sees a familiar cook book, making Jisung smile next to him. He already had this book, so he's not sure why Jisung would get him another copy, but he picks it up nonetheless.

"I remember the first time you made me dinner as boyfriends aka our fourth date. You told me this was your favorite chef, and you wanted to make me something from his book to show how much you liked me, plus you had just gotten it. I don't think I'll ever forget the face you had when you were explaining why food, his in particular, made you so happy. I think that was the moment I subconsciously told myself that I wanted to see that smile on your face for the rest of my life. Obviously you smile more when you see me, versus his shows... but it's not a competition or anything." He smiles when Minho laughs at him.

"I figured, what better gift than your favorite cook book by your favorite chef from your favorite human being? Also you should totally open the front page for the actual gift." He points to the book making Minho finally stop staring at him and look down to follow his instructions. An envelope falls out of the book into the box it was previously occupying when he sees a handwritten note.

I love that my food can be a part of something so beautiful.

From everything I've been told, Jisung is so very lucky and grateful to have you in his life.

You will of course be seated at the chefs table, and I have personally curated a menu of dishes I know you'll love judging from everything Jisung has told me about you and your palate.
