Chapter 3 - what happened!?

Sk POV:

I cover my face and watch as NC crawls into the vent, still flustered from what they said "I'm... Cute??? They must be speaking nonsense-" I hear banging on the entrance door to the employee only room and it slams wide open. I see mochi standing there looking worried soon calming down a bit

Mochi runs over to me and hugs me "Sprinklekit!! Are you okay?? Are you hurt?? What happened?? I heard a lot of commotion happening here !!"

I push mochi away and smile- trying not to make it obvious I was flustered from what happened "mochi I'm fine- a human got in here and uh-- took some food that's all! I got uhh- hit though-"

Mochi looks at me in confusion soon turning into annoyance. "sprinklekit, your lying aren't you? why would you be blushing after that?"

Startled, I shake my head a whole lot and smile awkwardly "I'm not lying- I don't know what you are talking about---!!"

Mochi has that smug look on their face and smirks slightly " you met the new gootraxian didn't you? I did too, they.... Uhm he? He was quite interesting... I saw him in the vents- we uh-- ignored eachother-"

So He mostly hides out in the vents huh..? That's... Odd.. I snap out of my thoughts to hear some weird screeching....? Hissing..? I'm sticking with screeching...-- screeching noise coming towards us

Mochi grabs me and pulls me behind them in a protective manor, they've always been like a sibling to me-

Me and mochi see a whole group of people running our way.... From who though..?

I spot some blackish purple goo... It's nightcrawler!! And- a small group of more of them? Without goggles- I'm assuming he's the leader of the group..-

I watch as nightcrawler knocks over all the humans and the other nightcrawlers infect the humans that are still standing. I get a chill up my spine slightly blushing,  noticing that mochi is looking at me

" Okay don't look at me like that mochi. " I say a bit flustered

" Sprinkle... You are blushing again... " Mochi says looking at me smugly yet surprised. They look at Nightcrawler... Who's currently basically beating up humans... Then back at me and gasps

"Do- DO YOU LIKE HIMMM!?"

"WHAT!! NO! he's just some STUCK UP bastard who thinks he owns the place. He's not even that good looking."

" You still think he's good looking though~!!" Mochi says as they poke me teasingly

I push them away and cross my arms looking at NC just completely knocking over  humans like they are nothing but bowling pins

"Huh... I mean I guess, not really though" I continue looking at NC slightly blushing, I was thinking about what he said earlier... Shit.

There better not be another blackout tomorrow... I don't wanna end up stuck with that... Uhm... Bastard again......... I wouldn't really mind it that much though.......

GAH!! WHAT AM I THINKING!! of course I would mind Nightcrawler being in here with me!!! Especially not with what happened earlier!!!

I'm snapped out of thought by mochi poking me non-stop teasingly

"You are thinking about him aren't you!!! You are blushing like crazy~~!!"

"Mochi Stop!! I am not thinking about Nightcrawler!!!"

I push mochi away and roll my eyes, soon noticing that NC has left the hallway between the bathroom and the cafeteria

"Awwwh c'mon sprinkle!!! You aren't gonna get his attention like that! ..... especially not when you keep ignoring him." I hear Mochi mumble the last sentence as Mochi grabs me by the shoulder

"Now go find him!! Start a conversation! Maybe y'all will end up friends~~! Maybe even more than just friends....~!" Mochi says teasingly as they push me out of the employees only room

"Uh-uh!! I am not talking to him-----"

Mochi slams the door to the employees only room causing me to stop talking

"....that.... LOVEABLE JERK!!!"

Sorry for not posting chapter three for a bit- as y'all have seen I had COVID what fun! But luckily I fought hard enough for it to be gone.
