"I moved out of the city, bought a small river cabin, it had everything I needed and been there since, when valda met me, I was in city for shopping," Gabriel nodded, "but around six years ago, something happened like I evolved from whatever I was to now this. I find that if I am not careful, I can do more damage than I intend to do,"
"Before this, what could you do?" Gabriel asked him.
"Heightened senses, enhanced body stats. Some fire and water manipulation. And the eye thing,"
"Eyes focus?"
"Yeah, that. And that was hard to get under control," kaden narrated.
"That is basically a halfbreed wolf. Did you ever shift to a wolf at one point?" Gabriel asked him
"Never, I woke up one day in high fever, I rested and waited it but I passed out because when I woke up. It was three days later and I was like this. I have knowledge and more incantations at the tip of my tongue, things I never knew off like what am I really?" Kaden asked him.
"Knowledge? Incantations? Aha!" Gabriel stood up and to a room then back out with a book, "that I you,"
Kade read the cover, "sage wolves beginner spells,"
"Here is the thing though," he sat back down, "your race, is known as the first race to be extinct. Thus why no one can appraise you so far," he informed him.
"Are there like others returning?" Kaden asked curiously.
"If they do, we have to be worried, history records write sage wolves were hunted down and killed by rogue hunters for profit and control as weapons," Gabriel told him and he got worried, "don't worry, I have most in support with ending this war find all Old bloods before our enemies catch on," he relaxed to that.
"A bite turned me, does that mean anyone else who was bitten is now a halfbreed or something else?" Kaden wondered.
"Possibly, a bite is a hard to predict whether one will turn or not, if I see them I can appraise them to see of they will turn or not," Gabriel replied to that.
Once they were done, they walked out chatting away and down to the meeting room as kaden walked back to his room and Gabriel into the meeting, "devika isn't here?" He said
"Jake unlocked his skills and he has a legendary lost skill, creation. Jake being found a way to combine hiss skill and technology, guess what we got?" Tina replied.
"Magical technology or?" Gabriel guessed.
"Close, magi-nanotechnology, devika had a great idea, to put his new ultimate skill to the test. She left saying she is off to build a mission center for us all, including military." Tina clarified.
"Okay, let just focus on this now. We move in tonight. Every team and everyone is ready?" Gabriel asked the captains.
"Yep," Jason replied to that.
"One more time, full plan and fall back plan," he said and they went over the plans with Desmond included in.
That night, "you are telling me, you don't know who your friend liked or loved?" This was Desmond friend, walker, being questioned again still locked up in his room,
"Do I have to spell it for you? No, I don't. Dude wasn't even straight to begin with. Our med school was full of haters when it came to gay people so we kept silent, he was single last time I saw him," he replied uninterested with the conversation.
"This is going nowhere," one commented.
"We Checked his address, according to his landlord, he hasn't seen him since the day he came here," second one replied.
