You would think being as smart as I am now, and having 5 adult x-military bad asses on your side, would make it easer to plan something. Well it did if. If I wanted to take over a small country, no problem. Just make a couple phone calls and we had hundreds of people to help. Kidnap the president, give us an hour. Plan for the zombie apocalypse. Done in 15 minutes. Needless to say, we got a little sidetracked as we were trying to figure out our plan.
So here's a recap. Keep the secret from my daddy. Done. Get all the guys to help. Done. Find a place. Not so done. And, find a time to do it so we had time. Sorta done.
After the day with Wolf, he was on board. And between Wolf and Husky, everyone else was on board. They all saw the change in my daddy. And they all wanted to help in any way they could. They even had friends that would help them with security and other things so we all could be together if we wanted to be.
It was Bull of all people that finally found a place for it too all go down. Something that nobody knew (except for me) was that Bull was a foster kid. And one of the homes he stayed at was not your normal foster home. He was taken from a foster family and put there for safety. (I knew he saw something that no kid should have seen. And he was put there so the bad guys couldn't get to him. But I'm not going to tell anyone that.) So now we had a place. Sorta. Bull and Panther were going up there, "to scope the place out" and make sure in person that it was still ok to use. For some odd reason satellites could not give them a good picture of the place.
The 3rd and final day of the bubble clean up (and my punishment) was finally here. I did my normal routine of getting up, having breakfast, planing all this stuff instead of working. And then, a nap. I got woken up from my nap and had a snack. I wasn't hungry for some reason when lunch came. I wasn't hungry when dinner came ether. I was constantly drinking a bottle or sucking on my pacifier all day so I just thought I had drank to much. But by the time it came to my bed time I figured out what was wrong. I was sick.
Panther and Bull were gone for a couple of day (lucky them). And dad had a lot of work to do at the office during the day. And so that left Bear, Husky, Wolf, and then there was me. A sick 15 year old in a 1 year old body. Now a sick 15 year old is easy t deal with. A sick 1 year old is hard. But when you have a situation like mine. Well lets just say, one parent just will not do.
10 minutes after I went to bed (about 8:10pm), I was throwing up and wanting Bear. He got me cleaned up and rocked me back to sleep. That took about an hour. By 10 I was wide awake (think 4 year old on a sugar rush) and I wanted Wolf. We played together until I passed out standing up 2 hours later.
I was still in Wolfs arms when I woke up next and tried to hug him to death because of a nightmare. He passed me off to Bear and we cuddled for what felt like forever. He fed me a bottle of something warm and that tasted really yummy. The next time I woke up, I was curled up in a ball on Bears chest with a blanket on us. Bear was sleeping in a reclining chair in the living room. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 3:00 am and the house was quiet. Nobody was awake except for me.
I slowly and quietly got off of Bear without him waking up. At the moment I felt older. Maybe not 15, but older. I knew I shouldn't be awake right now. And I definitely should not be walking around the house. And I really shouldn't be doing all this in only, a dirty diaper. I needed to get changed and then go back to bed. I knew that Bear was sleeping and he had been awake with me for a long time. I knew Wolf also took care of me tonight. So he would need his sleep. And my dad had a lot to do tomorrow, well, later today. So I went to find Husky's room.
I knew right were it was. The problem was my height. I could bearly reach the door handle. So I went to my room and found nothing that would help. Until I saw some pillows an blankets stacked up. I started by grabbing the blankets and put them in front of Husky's door. Then I grabbed the pillows and stacked them on top of the blankets. Then I got on top of them and I could reach the handle. Now you would think that I would have fallen off of this stack. It's not stable. And you would be right.
