After another 2 hours the doors open. Harry goes to the surgeon scared*

Harry: w-what happened? 

Surgeon: the surgery was a success. He will need to stay here for the next week and then he'll rest for another week

*Harry starts crying in relief*

Harry: Thank you thank you so much! C-can I see him?

Surgeon: of course! He'll have to stay in the ICU for the next 24 hours, he will probably wake up in the next 8 hours… then he'll be moved in a room

Harry: thank you!

*The surgeon leaves and Harry sits on a chair crying*

Liam: Harry buddy he's good!

Harry: I… I know… oh thank God.

Liam: you need sleep now. Don't you want to go home?

Harry: n-no I'll go to him… you can go home!

Liam: You're sure?

Harry: yeah! Thank you for staying here with me

Liam: no problem 

Zayn: bye bye

Harry: bye

*Harry enters the ICU and Louis is surrounded by health machines, he has an oxygen mask on his face, his heartbeats are on the screen and he has an IV in his arm. Tears are falling on Harry's face and his hands are shaking so hard. He goes closer to Louis and sits on the chair next to his bed*

Harry: Hi…

*Harry kisses his forehead and takes his hand. He runs his fingers on his fingers looking at him crying. He couldn't sleep, he didn't want to sleep so he spent all night looking at Louis sleeping. After a lot of hours Louis starts opening his eyes. He blinks slowly until he realises what is happening around him. He can see clearly now that Harry is looking at him with hope, he is holding his hand and he looks so tired*

Louis: I… I bet you look worse than me, baby

*Says Louis with hoarse voice and Harry giggles starting to cry*

Harry: I thought I lost you!

Louis: but you didn't 

Harry: you almost died…

Louis: but I didn't 

Harry: you were close… so close

Louis: I don't leave like that! I say a proper goodbye when I leave

Harry: I love you

Louis: I love you more

Harry: you d-didn't kept your promise 

Louis: I know… but I'll make it up to you 

Harry: j-just please don't leave. This is all I want

Louis: I won't leave, baby.

Harry: does it hurt? 

Louis: a little. But it's alright 

Harry: I love you

Louis: I love you more

Harry: you know I'm mad at you, right??

Louis smiles: relatable. But I'm mad at you too!

Harry: why?

Louis: Because you were open to die just to save me!! You can't do that!

Harry: a piece of me died anyway…
