[day 176]
Patrick was the first to enter the building, his face plastered with guilt, anguish, sadness all in one.
When Charles caught a glimpse of this, he feared the worst, he felt his heart sink, wondering if the journey was unsuccessful.
Ozzy and Otto had returned, they had done their part according to plan.
But he only had to wait a few seconds, as Diana stepped into the room, he felt the weight being lifted."Mum!" Came a cry from a teary eyed Hugo, Dingo following close behind.
Diana felt tears flood her eyes as she dropped to her knees. Her outstretched arms met her sons embrace. The boy was almost hidden in her arms while she stroked his dark hair.
For many, a warm feeling of relief and joy lifted their spirits, heart smiles were spotted all around.
However, for Patrick and his friends, it was an entirely different story."How do we tell him?" Asked Rose obviously referring to Seamus.
These words completely glossed over Patrick, he was still processing what had happened, beads of cold sweat dripped from his nose onto his shirt.
The dark cloud was still looking over even when Diana went to hug Charles, both letting out a loud growling noise or a type of joyous groan.
He then jumped when he heard a kind of laugh, Patrick watched as a woman leapt into Otto's arms and began to kiss him. He staggered back until they were against the wall.
Ozzy caught Patrick's eye, he too noticed Noah was missing.
When he realised it was up to him to make everything right, he heard a low rumbling sound and tapping on the roof windows, it was raining.
