Forcing himself to make levity of his situation, he began to remember the parties his parents used to host, and how they had trouble masking their true personalities around him and that gave him an idea. They began to notice how he was forcefully changing himself, and yet not realizing the real change that was going on this whole time. At first it was a mild fear of him, but soon after they tried even harder to completely beat him down, their one vulnerability towards him started to present itself. He soon realized he finally had the upper hand and in an act of revenge in his rage-filled mind, he strongly imposed that his parents renew their past careers as notorious serial killers.
He used his ever growing rage as a weapon against them, if they dared not to comply with his wishes. Describing it as the gasoline that was less than an inch away from the lit match. He used his very dark thoughts to further fuel him and gave them a brutal taste of their own medicine. All the pain they had brought to him for all those years. As Stacy was growing away from him, his stress began to increase, along with his craving for homicide. This led to him creating their first task, which was for his father to kill Stacy's boyfriend. Thomas knew his father couldn't say no so it happened. Thomas relished in all the attention Stacy gave to him. Seeking emotional support from him after she found out her boyfriend had died. While Stacy was grieving, Thomas felt no remorse at all. He knew it was not the first time he had seen a dead body and that was because of his one other outlet, that soon became even stronger than his outlet for Stacy, which was the one thing he knew his parents feared the most about him and what he was capable of if they didn't oblige.
One night, he was lying in his bed, fast asleep, dreaming of things he could make his parents do, while trying to ignore the tensions that would soon rise, when he suddenly snapped out of that mood, into a completely new one he hadn't felt for a very long time. He snuck out of his house and into another house in a much less fancy neighbourhood. He walked into the bedroom of a sleeping woman, completely unaware of her surroundings. She had many papers stacked on her desk. Thomas looked at them and recognized the instructions on the sheets of paper. They were spelling questions for students ages 6 to 7. He left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. He then left the house with a chair and put it right in front of the side window of the house, the only window in the whole house. Thomas positioned it right where the kitchen was and just sat there. He waited for 6 and a half hours until he saw her walking towards the kitchen. He saw her grab a cup of coffee and a muffin as she brought some of the papers from last night. Thomas sat and watched as she started to choke on her coffee and muffin. She frantically looked around for the phone, while Thomas quietly patted his pocket, filled with pliers, outside. She then collapsed on the floor. Satisfied, but not showing it, Thomas then threw the chair next to the huge pile of garbage in her backyard and walked away, thinking to himself that she was lucky to even have breakfast every single day in the morning, no matter what was in it.
Thomas then decided to concentrate his focus more on what power he had over his parents, than any thing that he used to do when he didn't have that power. After a few weeks of relishing in the new luxury he had acquired, his parents soon gained the upper hand again and started to rebel, using their physical strength to switch the power dynamics back to where it "should have been." After losing once or twice they had finally gained the upper hand once again and had brutally beaten that thought into him countless times after it happened, which they now neglected to notice, just added to his growing hatred towards them.
They also kept blackmailing him, that everyone will know he is a sick and twisted psychopath, which created a tense atmosphere in the house. If one of his parents walked by him, they would both stare daggers at each other before walking away. His tearful gaze always followed them.
One night he was feeling very frustrated and dysphoric by the constant tension, so he decided to take a shower in his parents bathroom, after a week of avoiding doing so, to not even look at them. After he got out, he looked in the mirror and saw that he had tears in his eyes. After hearing minor ringing in his ears, he looked at his reflection for a second, and slammed both of his hands at the mirror, shattering it. It all happened so fast and he just wiped the glass off his palms, not even bothered that they were bleeding. While he dressed himself, he thought a lot about his childhood and looked back at his red hands and wiped his eyes, causing the blood to stain his face. His parents were out for the night and they unintentionally left some money on the table. Thomas was starving and thought about taking the money. Even though he couldn't stop hearing his thoughts screaming about the consequences if he did. Then he thought about the last two nights, where he had eaten nothing. With a cringe and a tear running down his cheek, he ignored the consequences, took it and didn't look back. It was a very little amount of money and that meant he could only go to the stores in the rough part of town. He looked around in one store and counted the coins in his hands. He couldn't afford anything and clutched his shirt to avoid clutching his stomach. After staring at the limited food choices for a minute, he reluctantly turned away and left. He went to another store and found the one thing he could afford, the last, minuscule bag of chips. As he brought it, he saw as the coins were pulled further away from him and the cashier pushed the food towards him. He sat on the bench outside of the store, regretting what he had done, but he knew he couldn't lose any of the weight anyways.
