I couldn't believe that Andy and I had already been married for two weeks. I also couldn't believe that I still hadn't gotten over the nausea. I set up an appointment with my doctor to find out what was causing my nausea, even though I already had a pretty good idea that I already knew what it was. I decided to drive myself, since I finally wasn't getting carsick anymore. I waited until I got out to my car after my appointment to look at the test results my doctor had given me, and I had to sit there for a bit to get my emotions under control so I could drive home. When I walked in, Andy was scribbling away in a notebook, but he looked up when I entered the room. "Hey babe. How'd it go?" He asked. "It went okay," I said, sitting down next to him. "Just okay? I don't buy that," he said skeptically. "Okay, you got me. It actually went great. I have some news to share with you," I said, snuggling into his side. "What's the news?" He asked me with a slight smile. "Andy, you're going to be a dad," I said simply. He blinked once, then grinned at me and pulled me into a tight squeeze. "This is amazing!" He said while I was struggling to breathe. "Could you loosen your grip a little? I can hardly breathe," I said, and he let go of me. "I didn't mean you had to stop hugging me," I said. "Oh. Still, I'm so happy!" He said. "Me too!" I said with a huge grin, but then a thought occurred to me. "I just thought of something," I told Andy. "What is it?" He asked. "What about touring? I know that you and the guys have one coming up in a few weeks to promote your new EP, Rebels," I said. "We'll take you with us, like we did for the last one," he said.
I began to contemplate what he said, but then I realized that it wouldn't work for me. "That won't work for me. I don't want to be too far from home when I have the baby," I said. "Then I'll stay back with you," he said. "No, you're not canceling the tour because I'm pregnant," I said sternly. "How about this: I'll keep my phone on me, and when you go into labor, call me and I'll come home as fast as I can," he suggested. "Works for me. After all, it would be nice if you were here for the birth," I said. "I kinda figured. I'll do my best to make it happen for you," he said. "Thanks baby. We can talk to each other on Skype or something while you're on tour, if you want," I said. "I like the sound of that," he said. "Perfect. It'll probably be pretty lonely, not being with you, but I don't want you to feel like you have cancel your tour," I said. "Makes sense. When do you want to tell the guys?" He asked. "Aren't they coming over this afternoon?" I asked. "Yeah," he replied. "Let's tell them then," I said.
That afternoon, Jake, Jinxx, Ashley and CC came by to visit us, and I was a little nervous about telling them the news, but Andy reassured me that it would go fine. "Rayvyn and I have some great news to tell you guys," Andy said. "What's up?" CC asked curiously. I cleared my throat softly before I announced the news to them. "Andy and I are expecting!" I said excitedly. "Uh, what does that mean?" Jinxx asked, and Jake hit him in the back of the head. "She means that she's pregnant, you dope," he said. "Oh," Jinxx said, and he and the other guys congratulated Andy and me. "This doesn't mean that we're canceling the tour coming up, though," Andy said. "Wha - Rayvyn needs you around now more than ever!" CC said, and the others voiced their agreement. "Guys, it's fine. I can handle this while you guys go on tour. It's not a big deal," I said, but they weren't having it. "This is your first kid, that's not something that happens all the time. Sure, there's gonna be more tours, but your first kid is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, dude," CC told Andy. "You guys aren't gonna budge on this, are you?" Andy asked. "Nope," Jake said. "Well, our fans are probably gonna be pretty upset," Andy said. "They'll understand why we're canceling the tour, man. They'll still be able to listen to the new EP, so I think it's all gonna be fine," Jake said. "If you say so, I guess," Andy said. It was then that I realized what could potentially be the hardest thing I had ever done in my life to this point. "Oh damn, I just realized something," I said, and Andy looked at me. "What's that?" He asked. "We're gonna have to tell my dad that I'm pregnant," I said. "Oh crap, you're right!" Andy said, a look of fear on his face. "Baby, relax. It's gonna go just fine," I told him.
"Yeah. Shoot, I just realized something too," he said. "What?" I asked. "We've also gotta tell my parents," he said. "Oh. Thanks for reminding me," I said calmly. "I'm kinda scared to tell them," he said. "That's normal with a big event like this. It'll be alright, trust me," I said, gently rubbing his arm. "That really helps me feel better. Thanks babe," he said. "No problem, baby," I replied. I couldn't help but smile and put my free hand on my stomach, and Andy smiled at me and put his hand on top of mine. "That is so cute," CC said, and we all laughed. "Damn, it's already five p.m?" Jinxx asked, and I checked my watch. "So it is," I said. "So, what do you guys want for dinner?" Ashley asked. "I dunno. Pizza sounds pretty good right now," I said, and the others agreed. "Right. I'll go get some pizza, and... oh. What toppings do you guys want?" He asked. "I'll have cheese," I said. "Same here," Andy said, while the others said pepperoni. "Okay. One cheese pizza and two pepperoni pizzas. Got it," Ashley said, walking right out of the door. "That's nice of him to offer to get us dinner," I said. "Yeah. That's Ashley for you," Andy said. "I like him. Just as a friend, though. You'll always be my one and only," I said. "Thanks for clearing that up," Andy said. "My pleasure," I replied.
After we had dinner, the guys decided that we should play a board game. I was interested when Andy pulled out a Monopoly game, so I decided to play too. We played for a while, and we each won a game, then the guys left, leaving Andy and me by ourselves. "Now what?" I asked him, and he simply shrugged. "Yeah, me too. I don't really feel like doing anything," I said. "Should we go to bed, then?" He asked. "That sounds appealing," I said, moving to get up. Andy stopped me before he swept me up in his arms and carried me to bed before joining me. "Good night, babe," he said. "Good night, baby," I replied, and we fell asleep not long after.
