Michael POV

About 2 years ago I had broken up with my girlfriend Veronica, the breakup was actually mutual.

Work was getting in the way of our relationship. We met on the set of Grey's Anatomy when I was playing Brady Mays. We broke up a few months after I started acting as Jordan Baker on All American.

A few years later I got a love interest named Simone Hicks played by Geffri Maya and shortly after that in 2021 she became my girlfriend in real life.

There was one problem though, almost everything Geffri did, even the smallest things reminded me of Veronica.

Like today when we were spending time together in my trailer.

All we were doing was making out, then I almost did it, I almost called her Veronica.

And just my luck, Ronnie and Sam were bestfriends so I saw her almost everyday and to make it better, she got the part of a new character on the show, Zolia Jackson who was sooner or later gonna be my love interest according to the producer.

I even vented to my mom about it, she'd only seen Ronnie not Geffri. She suggested that they might have some similarities but they didn't except for skin color.

Then she said something that made me rethink everything.

"I don't know, maybe Ronnie is your soulmate"
Then Geffri walked into my apartment.

"I'll call you back mom" I hung up

"Hey" She smiled and hugged

"Hey, we need to talk" I started

"What's wrong?" She sat next to me

"These past few months have been amazing but I think we'd be better as friends" I said as I held her hands in mine

"And Ronnie would be better as your girlfriend" She sighed

"Yeah, but your amazing Geffri and I hope someone gets to see that" I looked her in the eyes

"What's so great about her" She asked

"She's my other half, she makes me feel complete" I confessed

"So you've been reminiscing about her our whole relationship" Geffri asked

"Sometimes I'd just really miss Ronnie" I sighed

"She better than me?" Geffri stood up

"No, it's just not the same as it was" I thought about Veronica

All she did was leave and didn't speak to me for a week, 9 months later Ronnie and I started dating again and got married, by then Geffri had a new boyfriend.
