I finally made it back to New York and I was driven straight to Ivan's mansion to where they gave me a rundown of the plan that they have been brewing while they were waiting for me. It really feels like I have no rest but I won't stop until Nat is back with us. One of the things that concerned me when I arrived was Nat's father. I imagined him being pissed and disappointed at me for putting his daughter to this danger but when I arrived, he brought me in for a hug to comfort me. Which felt nice and it made me breathe a little better because I imagined him telling me to fuck off and leave Nat once she's saved but this family is so wonderful that they look into the bigger picture than stay closed minded. 

"Are you ready?" Yelena checked.

"To get my woman back? Yes." I replied with zero hesitation. 

"You have to remember that this is the man that abused you and this could bring out a lot of your trauma so I am just checking if you're really ready."

"Yelena, none of those matters to me right now. I just want Nat back." I said with firm persistence.

The plan for when we are able to find them is all set and the money was already in a bag all ready to hand over to Baron, along with an extra bag of money in case he suddenly decides to change the deal which isn't impossible. All we have to do now is find Nat and the bastards that took her. Ivan hired a group of people coming from a secret organization that I.R. Corporations is sponsporing named; S.H.I.E.L.D. The first thing they did was to track the phone Baron used when he called me and we were able to get a signal. It was transmitting from an abandoned warehouse in an island close to Bora Bora which is in Taha'a. 

Part of the investigation the agents were doing is to look into anything that's possibly linked to the kidnapping. One of the things that caught their attention was a file showing that Eleanor Bishop's only daughter from the company; Bishop Security has also been reported missing. This was not announced to the public but something that the team was amazingly able to pick up. 

"I knew it." Ivan hissed.

"What? What is it, dad?" Yelena probed.

"Baron knows he can ask more than just five mil. but he didn't. He's not doing this for the money. He's doing this to hurt people. Not just Wanda. This is much bigger than we thought it would be."

"Wha—, What are you trying to say?" I querried.

"That this is more than just taking the money he thinks you owe him but this is a mission to destroy and hurt the people linked to all of us. The Bishops daughter disappeared the same day Nat was taken. That can't be a coincidence. I know the Bishops from way back when. They have a history. Like all of us in this room, they were also tied to the wrong people." he explained. 

It was becoming evident that Baron and his team isn't doing this alone. They have an intel. We just needed to know who are they working with. But I know that little by little, we will put the pieces all together real soon.

"I'm going to call Eleanor and have her work with us. Working as a team would make this search progress faster." Ivan said before leaving the room to make a call.

"Shit." I mumbled under my breath which Yelena still heard.

"What?" she asked. 

"This is just all wrong and awful. I am beyond worried and I am doing my best to keep it all together but it's only a matter of time until I lose it. We only have 36 hours left until Baron does something awful and the fact that there's another person being held hostage for ransom is just making me sick." I sobbed.
