~~~~~
I'm starting to lose it.
I haven't heard anything from Iris. I have sent her messages trying to start a conversation with her but she's not even replying. I tried calling her but it keeps getting directed to her voicemail. Is she avoiding me?
Is she with Nathan? Or is she with Brandon? Is she choosing either of them over me? No no no, it can't be. We already have this connection. We made love. She loves me. I should have clarified with her what our relationship is. I need my fix badly.
I was walking towards the basement when I heard Harry from the living room, "Master Logan, is everything alright? You seem gloomy lately."
He walked towards me holding a tray with cups, a teapot and a plate of biscuits. "Is Glen still holed up in the basement?"
"Yes he is. I think he is trying to create something again. Something like spy contact lenses," he shrugs. "That boy is a genius but he needs to get a life aside from inventing things for his boss. I mean he is twenty three and still a Virgin. When I was his age I was busy shagging anyone wearing a skirt."
"Too much information Harry," I rub my temples as I sigh.
"Sorry Master Logan," he continues to follow me down to the basement. "Is everything alright?"
I stopped as I reached a locked metal door with a palm scanner on the side. Not wasting any minute, I put my palm on the scanner so I can get inside the room. This is the most secured room inside my apartment since everything inside is too valuable.
"I'm just having a bad day Harry. Don't follow me."
I went inside but Harry still continues to follow. "I'm also headed here. I was going to give Sir Glen some tea and snacks." Whatever Harry.
It was dark inside. The only light you'll see is from Glen's worktable and PC. He was so busy doing something that he didn't even notice that me and Harry were standing at the other side of his table.
"Glen, you have a minute?"
He almost dropped the soldering gun that he was holding as he looked at us, surprised.
"Geesh! I almost had a heart attack." He inhaled and exhaled slowly to relax as he puts down everything that he is holding on the table very carefully. "How can I help you my most favourite cousin?"
I shake my head as I roll my eyes on him, "I, am your only cousin." Harry was looking for a place where he can put down the tray that he is holding.
"That doesn't mean that you can't be my favourite cousin." He was waiting for a reaction from me and when he didn't get any, he just sighed sadly. "Let me guess. You can't contact Iris, correct?"
I nod. "Is she busy with something? I can't contact her through text nor call. She's not answering any."
Glen bites his lower lip as he exhales through his nose, "we can't either get a hold of her. She's usually like this when she's planning on something serious and needs to concentrate. Why don't you just hack her cameras in her house so you can see for yourself what she is doing."
"You know I can't do that."
"Well yes you can since you're the Almighty Wizard of hackers. Are you getting rusty? You've not been active online for a year now."
"That's not the point. You know how Iris secured everything in her house." He was lost in thought for a moment then he was walking towards his pc.
He was typing a lot of codes in a small window then a lot of windows popped out. "I got inside last time when we were tracking Nate's father. Let's just hope that she hasn't changed the codes yet or I'll be kicked out after 15 more seconds."
