The first thing I did when my plane landed this morning was go straight to Abigail's house. Forget being jet-lagged. The things I discovered from my trip made me realize that she is surrounded by selfish people with selfish motives. I need to see her just to be sure she is safe.

I tried to reach her phone for hours but it goes directly to her voicemail. I'm not sure if she's busy with work or something else. I told her not to do anything drastic and wait for me. I just hope she listened because she can be stubborn most of the time.

I saw Brad's black SUV parked in front of her house. I parked my jeep beside his and immediately get out. There, I saw Brad and Nate in a heated argument in front of her doorstep.

"She just left okay? I don't know where. She just left with the camper truck and that's it."

Brad gripped the collar of Nate's shirt as he pulled him close to him angrily, "she won't just leave like that and not leave any message to anyone. Her phone is off for days. Are you hiding her you fucking cunt?!"

Nate pushed Brad off of him hard angrily. I can see the other Vipers walking towards the house from the auto shop.

"Get your hands off me you fucking bastard!"

"How many days was she missing?" Both of them looked at me as I asked when I got near them.

Nate brushed his hair up annoyingly as he sighed worriedly. "Almost three days. I woke up one morning and we couldn't find her anywhere. We checked the CCTV and saw that she took off with the camper truck. That's it. We are trying to contact her but we can't."

"Why are you here anyway?" Brad looked at me irritated.

"I just got off the plane from San Francisco and I can't contact her that's why I'm here to check."

"Pfft, you cunts are fucking worthless." He walked away and started to call someone from his phone.

I walked towards Nate who puts a stop gesture to the Vipers nearing us as he looks at me.

"Did you do something to her that made her go like that?"

"What the fuck? Are you trying to blame me for why she just left?"

I went close to him and talked in a hush accusing tone. "I know what you did Nate. You thought no one would know what you did to your ex-bestfriend you murderer."

I know I caught him by surprise when he looked at me with wide eyes. He shrugged his shoulders trying to maintain his composure but I already caught his guilty reaction.

"What are you talking about?" He asked, trying to not let others know what we are talking about.

"I never ever thought that you could do this to her you piece of shit. You and Chris. You two are pigs!"

He went closer to me to talk in a hushed tone. He looked pale and panicking. "Did she tell you? When? How? D'you know where she is?"

What the hell? She knew?

Now I am the one gripping his collar tightly with my fist as I pull him closer furiously. "She knows?"

"She... she didn't tell you? Then how did you know?" He looks at me with despair. "I need to apologize to her. She just left and I didn't get to explain. Just tell me where she is...."
