Chapter 10 Recovery

After a few days of tending to the sick Trivies, they started to feel better as their fevers and flu bugs started to disappear.

Al, Pop, and Tito sat on the couch, snuggling together with a blanket wrapped around them. Tina and Bonzo slept on the floor in their respective sleeping bags.

Hector cozied up in his chair and sipped some hot tea. An ice pack was on his head.

Rocky and Willy looked at the Trivies getting better as they cooked in the kitchen.

"It was really weird, Willy. Tina honestly said that she was happy that I was helping even though I never wanted to help in the first place. It was quite strange.", he explained to Willy for the first time since his interaction with Tina. Willy shook his head and smiled.

"The reason why is because, even though we know you are only helping because of you not wanting to be locked up , we still appreciate the help. Maybe, we are more than just having knowledge.", he explained. Rocky was surprised. "Come again?", he asked, thrown off guard.

Willy smiled again. "Rocky, knowledge is not the ONLY thing that is important in Trivia Land. It is not the only thing important to us, either.", he paused to fill up bowls before continuing. "We care about each other, Rocky, and we value friendship with each other. You can gain all the knowledge you want, but without friends, what is the point of using that knowledge for good?", he asked.

Rocky was really caught off guard. He never thought about what Willy was saying. Rocky had no friends.

Though considering his past, he doubted he ever would have any.

Willy went out to the living room where the other trivies were and passed out the soup to each of them.

Rocky was wanted nothing more than just to leave. Being confused about everything and just wanting only knowledge was on his mind.
