Before the sun has rose, Mizumi already left the school to avoid drama and a sulking Satoru along the way because he isn't supposed to be at their place.

The family Amane Shrine.

The shrine that her family owns is known to have only females in them and not having a single male for the past century.

Mizumi herself did not ask since she did not care nor she will ever care.
Her family's past is theirs to deal with. But unfortunately she was dragged along since they were blood related.

Mizumi despised those words. Yet she had to choice but to bear her parents' sins.
She didn't even get the chance to meet her father.

And because of that it caused a problem between her and her mother. Making her leave the shrine and the Amane residence.

The only reason why she keeps coming back here is because the past decade. She heard that her mother was pregnant and has passed away during birth leaving her younger sister behind.

She hated how her mother never even told her about giving birth to her younger sister.

She only got to hear it from Satoru himself when he was spouting nonsense when he was hanging out with her on that day.

The bus finally stopped and Mizumi got off, a place where it's near both the sea and the mountains. And she had alot of stairs to climb in order to reach the Amane Residency.
Not willing to tire herself out.

Mizumi used her own cursed energy to make a cursed energy wings. Making her able to fly "It's actually a good thing that there are no people passing by currently" she thought to herself and flew off to the peak.

She could've flew all the way here earlier but her body won't let her. The cursed wings can only be used in a few seconds before her left arm starts turning fragile and slowly cracks the longer she uses it.

Landed infront of the shrine gate Mizumi had a sudden flashback of her nightmares from the past.

Father! I beg for forgiveness please! Mizumi begged but her father kept hitting her. No matter how many times Mizumi begged her father wouldn't listen.

He only kept hitting her harder, and harder and harder, until her father finally released all of his fuming anger towards her for just looking at him.

Meanwhile Mizumi, who's bloodied and battered covered with purple and black colored bruises all over her body, even her nose was bleeding. Sobbing on the floor, she couldn't do anything.

If she did it would put her life in even more grave danger.

Desperate to move, Mizumi crawled using her arms, her legs not being able to be used due to numbness from the pain that her father inflicted her.

Slowly and painfully it is, she went back to her room, where she only had an old futon and a pillow that had almost no cushion left in it.
Laying down, she tried to stop her other wounds from bleeding so she wouldn't be beaten up again tomorrow.

Struggling to tend to herself, Mizumi's grandmother suddenly went in her room quietly. Her Grandma brought with her was bandages and some ointments for her bruises and wounds. Her Grandma even brought water so she could have a small drink and stay hydrated.

Knowing her family, her mother might be even currently used as a maid by her father right now. Men that had entered and married the Amane women tend to only use them for pleasure, money, power and fame. They couldn't care less what happened to the women that they decided to have.

And Mizumi knew that, she clearly knew that yet they have to suffer this life of slavery from their own family. To the hands of men themselves.

Mizumi endured all this pain until she was 6 years old. She finally got loose of her last string of hope and faith that her family would change.
So she decided to run away, run away from the demons that they call themselves her family relatives.

Away from people who was only there to put on a public act thinking that the Amane Clan was a pure and strong clan. They were wrong.

The clan is filled with filthy and corrupted people, with only their pride and names to brag. Nothing else.

Grabbing a bag she stuffed it with few of her clothes, foods that she had managed to snuck while her father wasn't looking. And spare money that she found sometimes when she cleans up the residency.

Sneaking out was quite difficult but Mizumi managed somehow. As she was a few meters far from the Residency she began to run as fast as she could. Afraid that the men found her and is trying to catch her. Or kill her.

Reaching the sideways of the road, Mizumi gasped and had to catch her breath knowing she ran as fast as she could away from that place that others called her home.

Walking at the side of the road. Mizumi had nowhere to go, anywhere was fine with her except that place where she came from. She could live in the streets to survive if needed.

Floating around her train of thoughts the child had accidentally bumped into a tall man, realizing it the child feared that the man was one of the clan members of where she came from. But no, it was a different man, a stranger to be exact.

She didn't wanna trust anyone, especially men but she needed help. She needed a new place to stay "I-i... need h-help" muttering out words that anyone could barely hear but lucky the man heard it "What's your name kid?" He asked, the child looked at him with hesitant eyes but decides to answer anyways "M-Mizu...mi A-mane".

The man recognized her last name but didn't ask why she was out her. He knew why the child ran away, he had connections and he was no ordinary man that lived in the city.

Although he was hesitant to take her in, he did it anyways because he wanted someone could have as a small helper around the house.

And someone who could take care of them. "The names Toji Fushiguro kid. Come with me if you want to have a place to stay".

Mizumi shook her head realizing she was spacing out because of the memories that had flooded her brain for the past few minutes.
She sighed knowing that she both had bad and somehow goodluck always clashing in her life.

She was unlucky that she was born in this clan, yet she's lucky that she could be strong even due to the clan's generational curse technique. And she was lucky that that man took her in.

Even though she didn't fully consider him as a friend, he was there to help her when she did ask for help.
Slowly passing through the shrine gate, Mizumi took a quick deep breath to stop her brain from overthinking the trauma that she had dealt in the past.

She was here to visit a relative not fight (murder) her family.
Walking on the stepping stones, she didn't realize this place was actually so beautiful. Mizumi was shrouded with fear when she stayed here not even realizing the scenery that gleam in innocence and beauty. Yet hidden behind that beauty is a tragic family that could never be changed.

It has never changed, until that incident happened.
