Hunter X Willow <3 The Owl House

After The Game <3

(Hunter and Willow were already in the process of texting when Willow was with her team if you watched the episode, and hunter's not good at texting because its his first time)
(This chapter only starts off as texting, the whole story's not in this format. I do not own these characters this is all from the owl house 💕 I just made up a story for them)

After returning home and saying goodbye to the rest of the team, Willow can finally talk to hunter again. Despite the fact he tricked everyone before, she knows that he tried his best to fix his mistake and genuinely was sorry. She sees a lot of her old insecure self in him and wants to help him see himself better, like she learned to do. Hunter on the other hand was anxious but excited to be talking to someone new, especially her.

                              Texting
Hunter: *Sends a sleeping picture of flapjack on his bunched up cape*
Hunter: he s already sleep ing he must be wore ou t from toda y

Willow: Awwww poor lil guy
Willow: You must be wore out too, after all it was our first game and you killed it!😊

Hunter: haha i had a gr eat captain so d ont worry about me.

Willow: Awwww hunter You should really come out and play with us again, even if your next day off is in 365 days lol

Hunter: i wish i c ould butawsxfwx..... .. ... azpqo....    .... S... oa !!.?

Willow looked at her phone confused,
Suddenly it lights up with a call from Hunter

*She answers*
Willow: "Hel-"
Hunter: "Wait no-! Flapjack ! Ack!"

*loud chirping noises and distant sounds of hunter chasing down his phone blasts through willows*

Hunter: "Give me that!" "When did you wake up ?!" *Hunter finally gets ahold of the phone* " uggh what did you-"

*Willow giggles through the phone and Hunter turns bright red*
Willow: "You alright there Caleb ?" Willow says through her giggles jokingly.

Hunter: " Uh yes definitely!" Hunter leans his body weight on his desk trying to stand cool and manages to slip, fall, and get back straight up in two seconds.
Hunter: " Just callin to see what yourrr up to captain!.. aha"

Willow: *giggles* " Righttt, still at home talking to you and taking care of my plants" Willow smiles. Using her magic on one in her window ceil, causing it to bloom.

Hunter: *trying to sound cool* "Right right, What a coincidence I—- love plants!"
*flapjack chirps loudly in the background*
Hunter: *Whispering* "Shush I know!"

Willow: " Well then what are you up to Hunter ?" Willow says teasingly
*Tons of little chirps start in the distance with Hunter trying to shush them"

Hunter: "Just thinking about the game earlier ha! fun right ?"

Willow: "Definitely! I would love to play again with you soon Hunter!"

Hunter: *blushes* "See I'm not entire sure if (chirp) -if that's (chirp) possible. (chirp)"
(Quietly through the phone)
Hunter: "Fine! Then will you shush? (Acceptance chirp)."
(Back to normal volume)
Hunter: "Maybee it's possible for us to, I don't know um" *clears throat while bright red* "meet again Captain? though more privately, Only so there's no guards or anybody to catch me off duty aha!"

Willow: *blushing* "Ah so without the team?"

Hunter: "Something like that" *Clears throat* "O-only if that's ok with you of course"

Willow thinks for a moment, getting excited and a bit flustered at the idea, accidentally causing flowers to grow from all her plants surrounding her at a dramatic rate and have to catch one of her pots before it hits the ground.

Willow: "S-Sure Hunter!" *Caught off guard by him asking and her plant falling Willow without thinking says*
"Then it's a date! Can't wait! have to go, text me when you're free! Ok bye!"

Hunter:...*trying to understand what she just said while blushing fully red*

Willow completely embarrassed, Tries to calm down by working on her plant but causes it to grow out of control and grow up to the ceiling. "Ugh why'd I do that, why'd I do that, why'd I do that." Willow sitting and thinking for a moment.

" No, I'm not gonna second guess myself anymore!" *she smiles and stands proudly* "I'm gonna go through with this! .. or at least give it a shot aha!".
