Briana off to the side.
Katie: hi im here to see Devin Richardson.
Lady: is he expecting you?
Katie: umm no.
the lady raised an eyebrow as she examined me.
Lady: wait here. im going to let him know he has a visitor.
I stood there nervous as hell. I was feeling so many emotions. one part of me was happy to see him because he has been on my mind ever since I met him. but another part of me was scared and worried because I don't know how he would feel about me just showing up unexpected. he might curse me out for showing up in his work place uninvited. will he even remember me? what if he don't oh no I should just leave. I turned to walk out.
Devin: Katelyn?
I turned back around to face him. he stood there with that beautiful smile on his face.
"hi" I replied back shyly.
Devin: you wasn't leaving were you?
"of course not." I lied.
Devin: great, want to talk in my office? its more private.
I froze for a moment. should I really go somewhere more private with this man knowing damn well I can't control my hormones around him.
Katelyn: umm sure.
devin smiled wider then grabbed my hand and leaded me into his office.
Devin: so how have you been?
Katie: good.
I replied with a smile
Devin: that nice. im actually very excited that you decided to come see me.
right then all my nervousness vanished.
Katie: really?
Devin: yes, you have been on my mind since the day at the club. I was waiting for you to call. but after a week went by I figured you forgot all about me.
Katie: no I could never forget about you, iv actually been thinking about you too.
Devin: is that right?
I smirked.
Katie: yea that's right.
I walked over towards devin and got closer to his face. I don't know what came over me. something just took over my body. he eyed me down probably trying to read me. then soon he grabbed on to my waist closing the space between us. as we stared into each other eyes. and he looked at my lips with so much lust , I knew he wanted to kiss me and I sure as hell wanted to kiss him too. he moved in and so did I. just as we were about to start lip locking the office door open.
??: Mr. Richardson I-......oh im so sorry I didn't mean to interrupt. I really should have knocked. im such an idiot.
she turned to walk back out the door. and devin chuckled a little.
Devin: Brenda its fine....what did you have to say?
Brenda: I just wanted to let you know that Mr. Dawson has arrived.
Devin: oh god , I almost forgot. thanks for coming in here this meeting is really important. your a life saver.
she smiled.
Brenda: just doing my job sir... again im sorry for intruding .
she smiled again. then walked back out the door closing it behind her
