Chapter 8: Frostbite Caves

"Brr..., It's so chilly here...", was the first thing you said after you landed. "We appeared 50,000 years ago, in the middle of the last Ice Age!" Penny said, "We didn't just arrive at history, we arrived at Pre-history!" Dave added.

On day 1, it was still freezing, while you only have 3 fire plants, Torchwood, Jalapeno, and Snapdragon are the only plants that keep you warm. And after the fight, "Finally, some more fire plants!" you said. "It's indeed a Fire Plant, her name is Hot Potato. She could melt ice blocked!", Penny added. Day 2 came, and the snow is still getting thick. But it's still a cool and chilling day.

On day 3, a plant showed up after the fight. "Hurricale!", Dave said, "According to my analysis, Hurricale could blow the zombies as far as possible from your house, and add a chilling effect to slow them down in a few seconds," Penny added.

Day 6, "I-I-I can't handle th-th-the cold..." Dave says. Don't worry sure enough there will be more fire plants coming! "New Fire Plant Everybody!!!!" You said, just a few seconds after the fight. "Na-na-na-nice..." Dave added in a freezing accent. Finally, it's a little warmer now.

It's very cold on Day 12, Penny said, "Sorry to say this but, the temperature dropped to -84°C, which is technically very cold."

"Hey, g-g-g-guys!", you said, "I-I-I found Ch-Ch-Chard Guard, an n-new p-p-p-plant!", you added. "Based on my research, Chard Guard can push zombies back for a few tiles. And when he does this, he loses his leaves and after 3 times of it, he will be useless, but when you planted a Chard Guard seed packet on him, he will regenerate his leaves!" Penny added.

As of now, you still doing great and have encountered 4 plants already! Until on Day 15, when a zombie left a stone tablet. It shows 5 zombies going to get a brain. You let Penny analyze it and soon after, "An attack as strong as a snowstorm will be happening tomorrow."

Then on Day 16, being on Frostbite Caves, the Sloth Gargantuar has come onto the lawn, with 3 Yeti Imps at his back! Yikes!

It has been a very rough fight afterward. But, you guys still succeed to fight the Gargantuar, and as a reward, a plant showed up! It was Fire Peashooter, "Fire Peashooter is a type of peashooter that shoots fire peas!", Penny said.

It starts to get very cold on Day 21, "U-U-User Dave may heat s-s-s-sensor is getting l-l-low..."Penny said. And while Dave fixed some stuff on Penny, a seed packet just flew into the two. "Oh sorry guys, I was about to say I found a new plant! Stunion! I read his information at the back, it says he stuns zombies in a tile radius in front of him. He uses his breath to make zombies stop moving for a few seconds.", You said.

"Awesome!", Dave added.

Day 25, Dave helped you this time and you found a new plant! Rotobaga, shoots 4 directions, all diagonally!

To sum it up, it's like the bishop from chess, it could get eaten easily, but in the bishop's case, it could get trapped by pawns.

5 days later. Zomboss has come! "MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA! You can't defeat me this time! UNLEASH THE ZOMBOT TUSKMASTER 10,000 BC!" Zomboss yelled.

It was indeed a very hard fight but you three nailed it to destroy Zomboss. You guys took 17 Minutes to destroy his lethal robot. "HA! Didn't expect to take you three to defeat my Zombot. But better luck next time with my new plan, to the jungle! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!" Zomboss's farewell.

"C'mon plants get into Penny.", Dave says. "Is everybody in?", Penny asks, "Uh, wait, lemme check (checking plants, looking outside), no more plants except for the trees so it's a yes", You answered. Let's go to this jungle, whoosh! Welcome to the Jungle, or should I say LOST CITY!!!
