I heard the doorbell going off. I ran downstairs to open the door before my mom opens. I opened the door and met with smiling Marc. "Hello!!" I hugged him tightly. "Hello!" "Come in." He entered and I shut the door. "Who is on the door sweetie?" My mom asked from the kitchen. "Mom it's my friend." "Do you wanna meet my mom?" I asked him. "For sure." We then entered in the kitchen, where my mom is cleaning her China dishes. "Mom, he's my new friend, Marcus and Marc she's my lovely mom." "Hello Mrs.Bowen" He forwarded his hand for a shake but my mom engulfed him in a hug. "Oh child don't call me Mrs. just call me Veronica or Vero. I am still very young." "Ok Vero." We all laughed. "Ok mom, we are going in my room." "Sure, I'll make you both lunch. Marcus, do you like spaghetti?" He nodded. "Ok, now you both go, I'll prepare." With that we both went upstairs to my room. After entering my room Marc said, "Your room is beautiful." "I know right, it's my safe heaven." "So, why did call me today here?" "Do I need a reason to call you?" I narrowed my eyes playfully. He laughed and said, "Yeah no, i was just asking." "Ok, so i have to first of all talk about that podcast thing." "What about that?" "So, i was thinking about renting or leasing a warehouse which will eventually be my podcast setup." "That's a dope idea. Your father is a realtor. He can help you in that." "Yes, i was thinking the same. Now there is one more reason i called you.
