"How did you survive and since when do you have a mate!?" I yell as soon as Bane closes the door.

"Libby this is Hannah and Oliver, my mate and son." He introduces us.

"Hi." I say. "Now answer my questions." I  growl at him and he just chuckles.

"Hannah saved my life. We found out we were mates later. I accepted Oliver as my son. There I've answered you questions now be nice." Bane tells me. I think it over. Grandfather tried to kill him. Hannah saved him somehow. They became mates. Oliver did some voodoo to make the baby his son. The elders still seem upset about that one. Bane came back. He fought Grandfather. Grandfather is gone. I can breath again... and hey! I am nice!

"You are Alpha now. Grandfather is gone. The elders are ticked. You have a mate and I'm an aunt... cool." I shrug before giving him a hug. I really missed him. "Don't ever scare me like that again! Grandfather was going to make me mate the male of his choosing when I turn 13. He said he would choose the next Alpha and I would be his mate... I'm glad I don't have to do that now."

"He what!?" Bane yells and Hannah is quick to place a calming hand on his shoulder. Ahhh the mate bond at work. I smile at that. He deserves to be happy.

"None of that will happen now so calm down." She says before turning to me. "It's very nice to meet you, Libby."

"You too... can I play with the baby?" I respond. I need to get to know my new nephew, right?

"Sure Ollie loves to play." Hannah answers then sets Oliver down. Hannah and Bane step away while i play with the cutest little boy in the world! I coo at him making faces.

"Alpha." A knock on the door has us all looking over there.

"Enter." Bane answers guiding Hannah behind him.

"The elders want to talk to you in your office." Paxton says as soon as he opens the door. Hannah gives Bane a look and he sighs. Bane looks at Hannah most likely mind linking before following Pax.

"What was he linking you about?" I ask Hannah. She gives me a look as she tries to think of what to tell me. "Okay just give it to me straight. I may look like a kid but we grow up quick in the Alpha family. I can handle what ever is going on."

"He's worried the elders will try something. He wants me to keep an eye on you and Ollie." She tells me and I nod as a knock sounds at the door.

"Hey, Alpha wanted me to look out for you guys." Paxton says walking in and I smile.

"Hi Paxey!" I greet him and he smiles.

"Hey, Lib... it's great to meet you Luna."

Just as Hannah goes to respond the door flies open.

"What are you doing back here? You abandoned our family whoring yourself out to that Mexican mutt! I haven't given my consent to this match eithe!" A man yells at Hannah who takes a step back.

"You mean my first mate." She growls. "And it's none of your concern who I'm mated too, brother."

"You can't talk to the Luna like that!" Paxton yells.

"Shut it, pup." The man responds trying to get Hannah but Paxton steps in his way.

"Get out!" Paxton yells

"She is my sister! I am head of my family! I OWN her and that runt she birthed!" The man yells back.

"She is your Luna and deserves respect! She doesn't belong to you!" Pax yells looking up at the man not moving an inch.

"Out of my way shrimp!" The man growls pushing Paxton.

Paxton grabs the man's arm spinning him around and twisting it behind his back. A kick to the back of the knee drops the man who is then pinned to the ground.

"Good job Pax" Bane says comingto the doorway "you girls okay?" Both Hannah and I nod.

"Let me up!" He growls clawing Paxton with his free arm. Pax flinched as the claws dig into his side but keeps holding the larger male down. Poor Paxey!

Bane growls as he grabs the man. Pax jumps up getting out of the way.

"What do you have to say about MY Mate?!" Bane growls at the man as he holds him up by his throat.

"She is my family. I am the head of my house. I haven't given permission for her to be mated." He growls as best he can with Bane's hand around his neck.

"Hannah is a grown woman who your family abandoned when she met her first mate. You have no claim to her. She bears my mark. She is MY Mate and your Luna. You will apologize for your behavior and leave. She will contact you IF she ever wants to reconnect." He tells the man and he just glares at Bane. Bane increases the pressure on his throat.

"Sorry!" The man choaks out and he throw him down the hall. The man gets up and stumbles away. Bane shakes his head and enters the room.

"How ya doin' Pax?" He asks as Hannah is bandaging Paxton.

"I'm fine, Alpha. Sorry I couldn't handle him." He says lowering his head.

"You did great pup... thank you for taking care of my family." Bane tells him and he nods.

"You will be fine Paxton... and thank you for protecting us." Hannah says.

"My pleasure Luna." Paxton responds with a big smile.

"You were awesome Paxy! He was twice your size! You gotta help train me!" I say and he chuckles.

"Thanks Lib. Glad I could help... and I'd be happy to help you train... as long as your brother approves of course." He looks at Bane who nods.

"Can't think of a man I'd trust more." He says and I smile hugging Bane before tackling Paxton in a hug.

"Lay off him midget. The kid needs to heal." Bane scolds me and I look up at him still hugging Pax.

"It's okay, Alpha. She couldn't hurt me." Paxton says patting my head. "But you should hop up, pup. We both have school tomorrow and I know you didn't do your homework."

"It is soooo boring!" I whine.

"Yet you still have to do it. Imagine if you were doing the work of the other kids your age." Pax says and I jump up.

"Okay, your right, I'm going." I groan before leaving.

I'll get this done as quickly as possible because my brother is back so I have better things to do.
