Sorry for the big skip but I didn't know what else to write

Nick and Charlie both graduated from hight school. But there was a problem. They both wanted to do different things but they couldn't find a college they could both go to and do what they wanted. Charlie wanted to go to college to learn the drums more and nick was going to school for rugby. They both kept looking for a college.
After they found a college they decided to try to get in. But they had to wait for them to respond. During the time they decided to enjoy their summer and have fun with their friends since they might not see each other very often. They went to the beach they went to an arcade and a mall. They had lots of fun.
It was a month and a half into summer and Charlie and nick both got a letter in the mail coming from the college they wanted. Charlie and his parents went to a restaurant and invited nick and his parents too. They were planning on opening them at the dinner.
After every gets there they all order food and drinks and start eating. After they eat they decide everyone has waited long enough. Nick opened his first. Nick looked at his paper to see it say,

Congratulations, Nicolas Nelson.
We have looked at your application and we have went over your skill in rugby and we have decided you will be entered in our rugby classes. We hope to see you at the end of the summer.

Everyone cheered quietly and gave him hugs and handshakes. "I'm so proud of you", nicks mom said. Now it was Charlies turn to open his letter. He slowly took the peice of paper out of the envelope and opened it. He read,

Dear Mr. Charlie Spring. We are happy to accept you into our school. We have monitored your talent and we think you would be a great student.
__________________________________
Everyone cheered again and congratulated nick and Charlie for getting into college.
They went to tell all their friends and they all were happy for them.
Time skip: Beginning of college
They both started college and it was going really well. They were going to the same college so they could still see each other every day.
