A/N: Hello! I'm back with another Smytheberry fan fiction, but this story is a bit different from my other stories and quite personal.
I'm a single mom of a beautiful daughter about to turn 3 years old. My daughter was born premature at 27 weeks, weighing only 2lbs 11oz 14" and 59 days in the NICU. Despite being so premature, she came home with no monitors, no tube, and no surgeries. Amazing right? Well she is thriving but does have some development delays, including Autism. Not everyone's journey is the same. I've seen miracles, heartache, but one thing is the same..premature babies are strong. Unfortunately this journey can tear families or make it stronger. I'm blessed. Despite being autistic, she will be starting preschool in the fall and is turning 3 and a little over 3'2. Her photos are the ones of the babies on the cover of this story.
I decided to write a Smytheberry story based my own personal journey in some ways. In honor of my daughter Serenity. I hope you will enjoy.
