A/N: Hello everyone! I am back at least for now. I've had a lot going on and I know a lot of my readers have wondered when I'll write another full length story. It will be coming don't worry. I decided to add a finale to this story. As you know, this story has resembled my story with my own daughter, Serenity. This past Monday I had registered her for PreK and I became a little emotional because it hit me how far she has come the last three years. I hope you enjoy. And let me know what pairing you would like me to write about for next story: Puckleberry, Samchel, Smytheberry or Blainchel??
Disclaimer: I only own Serenity.

Four years later......
Rachel Smythe-Berry stood in front of the tall building with her daughter Serenity and husband, Sebastian. Rachel sighed and realized today was the day to set her daughter free, well at least for the day. She wanted to grab Serenity's hand and run away or at least for now. But, she couldn't do that. Her daughter was growing up, and soon entering the education experience. She hopes that school is kinder for Serenity as opposed to when Rachel was her age.
Sebastian: Sweetheart. It is time.
Rachel: I am not ready. Can't we hold off another day, or two or when she is 30?
Sebastian chuckled, as he led his wife to the front door and Serenity holding both of their hands.
Sebastian: It is going to be fine, Babe. Are you ready Serenity?
Serenity: Yes Daddy.
Rachel: Traitor.
Serenity: Mommy I'm not trayer. I'm Serenity.
Rachel and Sebastian laughed. Then, Rachel saw a young woman approach.
??: Hi. I'm Miss Rice, welcome to Brown Academy. May I help you?
Sebastian: I'm Sebastian Smythe, this is my wife, Rachel and this sweetheart is Serenity. It is her first day.
Miss Rice: Hi Serenity ! Welcome to preschool. Are you ready to meet your friends?
Serenity: Yes.
As Serenity walked into her classroom, she saw the books and toys. And friends.
Rachel watched her little girl walk away and fought the tears wanting to fall. She started remembering the day Serenity was born until now. She was so afraid for her daughter, but truth be told, it was Rachel who was afraid to let go. As she watched Serenity play, Rachel began to sing.
"I Hope You Dance" (A/N: By LeeAnn Womack)
(Rachel)
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
(Sebastian)
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin',
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin',(Rachel)
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.(Rachel /Sebastian)
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.(Sebastian)
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)(Rachel)
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,

Dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance..(Sebastian)

I hope you....dance.
Rachel felt the tears fall, as Sebastian stood behind his wife, arms wrapped around her waist, kissing her forehead..
Sebastian: It is going to be okay, momma. She is ready.
Rachel: But, I'm not..but I am proud of her and she is going to grow up smart, independent. A star or maybe the First female President.
Sebastian: If she is anything like her stubborn mother, and I mean that in the best way, Serenity will be fearless.
As Rachel kissed Sebastian, she smiled and whispered, "I love you, Mr. Smythe."
Sebastian smiled back. " I love you ,too. Let's leave. She will be home in a few hours. Let's make the most of the time alone. "
As the pair turned away, they heard footsteps behind them.
Serenity: Mama! Daddy!
Rachel: What's wrong baby?
Serenity: Not a baby. I just want to say "I love you".
Serenity hugged both of her parents. Rachel held on tight and whispered, " I love you too babygirl. I love you too..."
Serenity kissed both of her parents' cheeks before waving goodbye as she ran back to class.
Rachel looked at Sebastian who had tears, took her hand and kissed it as they left for the day until their family were united once again .
Their little girl is not so little anymore.
