A/N: Happy Mother's Day! I spent my day with my daughter. Missing my own mom and my oldest daughter, HayleighRIP. Serenity woke me on Saturday giving me a huge hug on my birthday. And on Mother's Day, she woke up, took my hand leading Me to the kitchen facing the stove. Lol I joked and told her its supposed to be the other way around. Lol
Anyways, I am glad you love this story. This story is very personal. Its basically my journey with Serenity but in this story its Rachel. Yes she is the baby on the cover but she's now three years old.

Rachel sat in the hospital room. Weird leg warmers that beep day and night. Constantly strapped to baby monitor, doctors & nurses come in and out. Sometimes she felt like a giant fish in an aquarium whenever doctors come in with resident students. The age old questions? "How are you feeling Ms. Berry?" Or her personal favorite, "Do you know why you're here?!"
She felt so alone in the room. Sebastian came often, but had work and school. Then Blaine and Kurt came often, but only to hear Kurt bicker about her attire. Seriously?! Blaine was always the sweetheart.
*Knock at the door*
Blaine: Knock, Knock
Rachel: Unless you are bearing gifts like my favorite vegan brownies and soy latte, leave.
Blaine: Would I disappoint my Maria? * handing her the bag and coffee*
Kurt: And....I Stylish nightgown. I don't think everyone needs a glimpse of your teeny tiny booty.
Blaine: Except Sebastian. *smirking*

Sebastian: Lady Hummel, I don't agree with the "no sex" rule especially in a hospital. Ever watch Greg's Anatomy or ER?! Plus I'm not the one who got her pregnant?! I wish I were...
Kurt: oh gawd a litter of Meerkat Smythes running around is all we need.

Nurse Beth walks in. " Hello Ms. Berry! How are you tonight? Its time to check Monitor and I'll be back. Wow you have some handsome company.
Rachel: Hello Beth. I'm having some discomfort and Baby Serenity is moving ALOT.
Beth: She's a fighter like her mother, I can tell. * hooks up monitor then leaves*
Rachel, Sebastian, Blaine and Kurt listened to monitor and marveled how something so small could move so much.
