Sebastian was on his knees praying. His girls have to be okay. A thousand images plagued his mind. What if something happened to the baby, or worse Rachel? He never felt so strongly about Anyone before. He knew he had to do the right thing and call Jesse, even if Rachel kicked his ass later for it.
Sebastian pulled out his iPhone 5s and called Jesse. Hus jaw clenched as he listen to phone ringing. Straight to voicemail. Seriously?!
*phone convo*
Sebastian: Jesse, its Sebastian Smythe. Look you don't like me and I sure as hell don't like you. But this is about Rachel and the baby you "claim" to love. Rachel may kill me, but you deserve to know that Rachel is in labor and your daughter is coming early, like today. So here's your chance to step up. If you care, come to hospital.
Sebastian took a breath and hung up. He paced as Thad got off his phone making calls. He forgot Thad was here.
Thad: Hey dude, I called Kurt and Blaine, the other Warblers and everyone who gives a damn. They are coming. Rachel is going to be OK. The nicu are on standby.
Sebastian: I can't lose them. I called Jesse. Let's see if he is man enough to show. Either way, those are MdilationDAMN when are they going to let me see her?!
Thad: Wow..I've never seen this side of you, looks good on you. Hey Warblers back each other. We are here.
*Klaine running into waiting area*
Kurt: My Diva, where is she?!
Blaine: Sebastian, are they okay?
Sebastian: She is in L&D awaiting for the baby's arrival. This is too soon. *voice cracks*
Kurt: Oh my Gaga.
Blaine: Rachel is strong, and so will Serenity. Its going to be OK, Seb. Thanks for being here for them. Speaking of where is Jesse?
Sebastian: I called but left voicemail.
Nurse Betty: Sebastian, Rachel is in her room. We gave her an Epidural. So far baby and mommy are OK. At 8.5 cm dilated but water intact still. We are waiting for her to hit 10cm dialation or her doctor breaks water. (A/N: This in fact did happen to me. Serenity's head was at cervix but water hadn't broken).
Sebastian: So we just wait?!
Betty: She is going to be okay. We had to give her oxygen mask to help with her breathing. Right now due to epidural she can't feel contractions. You can come in and sit with her.
Sebastian looked at the others. Kurt nodded.
Blaine: Go and be with her. We will be here. Tell her we love her.
Sebastian: Thank you.
Sebastian walked to Rachel's room and saw her resting, looking so fragile.
Sebastian walked to a chair and held her hand. Rachel stirred and slightly opened her eyes.
Rachel: *weakly* Sebastian?
Sebastian: Shhhh. Rest. You're going to need it. Everyone is here, well except Jesse. Don't kick my ass, but I left him a message. Either way you have me. I will do all I can. Set up trust fund for both of you. You never will be without anything.
Rachel: Daddy's girl? *teasing*
Sebastian: *kissing her* I'm so proud of you. Both of you.
Rachel: I'm sleepy.
