Wanda gets home early, the boys are at soccer practice and she begins to prepare for dinner in the kitchen. She chops some carrots, humming a tune to herself.
The sounds of the doors unlocking can be heard from Wanda thinking it's the boys.
"Billy, Tommy, you there?" She asks still prepping the ingredients.
"Daughter." A deep voice calls out to her, immediately she turns around shocked to see Magneto inside her house.
"What are you doing here!?" She growls angrily at the sight of the master of metal who looks unphased by her anger.
"News can travel quick but I am disappointed to not see the boys here I would've liked to seen them."
"You're not welcomed here and especially not around my own children." She hisses, getting up in his face.
"Here you are hiding under the guise of human, pretending you're like one of them whilst your power is wasted away!" He replies completely disappointed.
"I'm happy! Me and the boys are fine without you or your so-called damn Brotherhood in our lives!" She growls at him, her kitchen begining to shake.
"They have the gene and you know it Wanda! What'll happen when their powers awaken? Gonna shelter them from their potential and make them pretend as well!?" He shouts back at her, Wanda clutching her head painfully as objects throughout the kitchen begining to levitate in the air.
"STOP IT!!!" She cries out, sending Magneto flying out of the house with a powerful crimson shockwave whose energy could be sensed by various beings across the world.
Kamar-Taj
Wong gasps as he turns to the direction of West in Kamar-Taj, wondering what on Earth was that powerful source of energy.
"Master Wong what's wrong?" America asks, breaking her concentration as her mystical shield disappears.
"Something in the Western Hemisphere, a raw power unlike anything I've felt before in my time as a sorcerer."
Magneto looks up to see Wanda walking towards him with cold glowing red eyes, he goes to use his magnetic abilities but red energy swirls around his hands freezing them up and grits his teeth in pain from the red energy swirling around his head.
She lifts him up off the ground above her, the energy constricting him making Magneto realize he's made the mistake antagonizing his daughter.
"Get away from my family." She warns in a darker tone before she rockets him outta Westview, Magneto disappearing from view.
Xavier's Institute
"Professor what's wrong?" Cyclops asks his mentor who looks visibly shaken up by something he's sensed.
"A powerful presence emerged, a mutant with extraordinarily dangerous power was under our own detection this long." Xavier explains, feeling a chill down half his spine at the thought of what he felt.
"Should I-"
"No Scott, I'll head over and deal with it personally. Please escort me down to Westview, New Jersey right away."
"You say so Professor, I got your back."
"No no no no no not again not again." Wanda fearfully runs her fingers through her hair pacing around her trashed kitchen, she can't seem to take her eyes off the floor in shame letting that side of her burst out in such a way.
She absolutely hated that ragefull and chaotic side of herself, only brought her trouble and destruction wherever she went like it was an inevitable force of nature.
Worse was she couldn't deny Magneto's point, her boys are mutants without a doubt and when their powers awaken everything changes.
She quietly begins to use her abilities to fix the damages caused throughout the house before the boys got back.
Charles and Scott pull up in front of the Maximoff Residence, Charles felt a nostalgic sense from when he first met Jean as a child in her home.
"Wait here Scott." He tells him, Scott about to reply before a sling ring portal opens up next to them as America Chavez walks out of it from Kamar-Taj.
"Hello there." Xavier politely greets the multiversal latina, America smiling and waving at the two of them.
"Hello Professor, here for the same reason I am?"
"Indeed I am, seems we both have questions we liked answered." He replies with a smile. "How's about we get them together?"
"Sounds like a good idea."
The two heroes walk up to the door, America knocking on it making Wanda look back at the door skeptically but decides to open it up to see the two of them there.
"May I help you?"
"Wanda, oh it's good to see you're doing well these days." Xavier replies positively.
"I know why you're here, everything is fine now I swear." She replies hastily, preparing to close the door on them.
"Uh no it's not." America replies with a scoff. The Sorcerer Supreme and the other sorcerers in Kamar-Taj which is all the way in Asia."
"I'm sorry but who's the sassy lost child?" Wanda turns to Xavier confused.
"America Chavez, I'm a superhero." She replies confidentially, posing like Wonder Woman.
"Isn't it a school day?" She sasses at the teen.
"Actually I live and learn at Kamar-Taj so yes and no to you Miss Maximoff." She sassily replies back, irking Wanda.
"Look I just want to be left alone okay, I'm sorry for bringing you guys all the way here but I believe you've over welcomed your visit." She reasonably tells them to leave her property.
"Please Wanda we just wish to help you, your boys-"
"You keep my boys out of this, good day!" She snaps at him before slamming the door in their faces.
"Rude." America frowns.
"It's best to leave her be for now Miss Chavez, Wanda has unfortunately been a troubled character for some time now." Xavier explains as the two walk away from the house.
"I'll say. Help arrives at her door and she slams it back at them."
"There's more to her than even she realizes, I just hope she comes to us before it's too late."
