Entwined Together

Part IV

Peter knocks on the Maximoff Household door, Billy and Tommy open the door to see their mom's boyfriend in front of them.

"Hey kids is your mom here? I accidentally left my wallet here."

"No she hasn't came back yet, we just got back here cause we left our emergency phones here." Billy tells Peter.

"Oh, you know where she went?"

"No, she hasn't come back yet but her car is still here." Billy explains, gesturing to the parked car in the driveway.

"You know what I'll call her just to make sure she's alright, there's always a answer." He presses Wanda's contact and waits for a response several times but she doesn't pick up the phone.

"Do you know anywhere she could've gone?"

Carolyn gets slammed against the shield barrier, her suit begining to show damage and blood leaking from her nose as she gets up and fire energy projectiles at the Scarlet Witch.

"No sir, she just disappeared."

Ghost Rider gets dragged around by his own flamming chain through the rocky ground before getting launched into Reed Richards who cushions his impact.

"Should we call the cops Mister Parker?" Tommy asks concerned, Peter unsure what to tell her boys.

Agatha bursts outta the rubble covered in a purple shield barrier, looking out to see Captain Marvel, Mr.Fantastic, and Ghost Rider trying to fight off The Scarlet Witch and weren't doing well to stop her.

"Oh no...it's too late." Agatha realizes she's failed to stop the transformation  and now the world could be held at the witch's mercy.

"Stop!" The Scarlet Witch turns around to see Agatha appearing and walking towards her, The Scarlet Witch holds the other three in place as she hovers over to Agatha.

"Spare their lives, you're free now." She pleads, kneeling down to the superior witch who growls at Agatha and lifts her into the air by her throat with red energy.

"Traitorous wrench, you wanted me gone from the very moment the prophecy was told to you! You aren't worthy of what I am!"

"Your offspring, you aren't worthy of them either." Agatha chokes out, feeling her throat slowly being crushed. "They'll only hate what you've become and no ounce of magic will heal that wound."

"You dare!?"

"I do. You've sacrificed the only family you have for power, knowing they'll resent you for it and that the mother they loved died when you were born."

She could've easily tore Agatha apart in this instance but she doesn't, she feels her arm freezing up as she tries to crush Agatha's throat. She looks down at her arm in disbelief, trying to budge it but it's stiff like a statue.

"You forget you aren't the owner of this body, rather just pulling it's strings." Agatha tells her as she watches The Scarlet Witch beginning to panic, desperately trying to control her powers but was beginning to feel her grasp on all of them fade away.

The three Illuminati members fall to the ground, looking up to see The Scarlet Witch cry out in pain as she clutches her head trying to wrestle with herself.

"You're just a parasite to her and she wants nothing more in this world than to get rid of you!" Agatha exclaims as she uses her magic to absorb The Scarlet Witch's power, the crimson energy flowing into her purple hands.

"NO!!!" The Scarlet Witch howl's out as Wanda begins to appear in and out of her own body. "YOU NEED ME!!!"

"I don't need you!" Wanda exclaims out of the Scarlet Witch as the two rip apart from each other and The Ghost Rider whips the demon away from Wanda.

"No! No! NO!" It cries out as a portal to hell opens up beneath them, the souls of the damned wailing and screaming out down below.

"LET'S GO." Ghost Rider tells the demon, clutching it tightly as it falls with it into Hell and the portal closes.

Agatha drains the last of Wanda's power away as the mother drops to the ground looking drained of life almost zombie like. The glowing Agatha kneels over to the nearly dying Wanda who looks up at the purple witch.

"Is it over?" Wanda quietly asks, Agatha silently nodding as Wanda let's a tear streak down her face in relief.

"But you still shall live to go home to your children Wanda." She tells Wanda, creating a ball of red energy with a purple hue around it and gently slips it into Wanda's chest where she begins to revert into her normal youthful self.

"I'm so sorry." Wanda tells them, getting up to see the carnage the Scarlet Witch created in her path as more tears fall down her face.

"You aren't at fault Wanda," Reed replies to her placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We stopped what was inside of you and now what we can do is rebuild, make sure they didn't die in vain, and that you helped stop this."

Peter is about to respond to their answer before the boys exclaim happily at Wanda jogging over to them, hugging her boys tightly and Peter sighs in relief.

"Sorry if I scared you guys, mommy's had to run an errand for a moment." She assures them, looking up at Peter and smiles at him. "Mommy's not leaving you boys anytime soon."
