*Herobrine's POV*
I looked around frantically, panic growing in my chest. Lava spilled down from the sky, strange creatures flew around- I think I was more worried than I had been when I got shot by that arrow.
I scrambled to my feet, turning around and around, trying to find the Nether portal. It was G-O-N-E. I started blindly running, letting out random yelps of fear. Okay, maybe it was a little pathetic... but hey, I was pretty freaked out.
Suddenly I slammed into something. I fell backwards, gasping. I looked up to see an enderman- with green eyes. The enderman blinked, staring down at me. "You must be Herobrine.", he said, then smiled. "I'm Phil." Phil reached down, grabbing my arm, and hauled me to me feet.
"What are you doing in the Nether?", he asked, tilting his head. "Woah woah woah. First off- how do you know me?", I asked nervously. Phil smiled again. "What monster doesn't know you? You're amazing! The god of all monsters!" I nodded slowly. "Okay. Well, to answer your question, I'm in the Nether because of Notch. I got, er, banished.", I said, blushing slightly. Phil blinked. "Oh. Need a place to stay?", he asked.
I nodded. "Here, hang out with the ghasts. They're good company." He then teleported away. I strolled over to the ghasts. Their language was pretty easy to catch on to. We chatted about the Nether and the Overworld and me and them for a while.
Phil teleported back to me. "Okay! You've got a place to stay now.", he grinned, leading me over to a hill. I looked up to see a huge palace. "Oh my me!", I exclaimed. Phil looked at me strangely. "How'd you make this so quickly?!?", I asked, eyes still wide.
He shrugged. "I've always been a fast builder. Besides, I'm an enderman. We're good at that kind of stuff." "That reminds me- why is an enderman in the Nether?", I asked him. "Oh, the enderdragon didn't like me in The End. I'm different- a glitch.", he explained. "So.. you got banned here too?" He nodded. "In a way, yes."
I smiled. "I think we'll be great friends."
