NEW CHAPTER!!! BY READING THE TITLE, YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW WHAT THIS ONES ABOUT...
***Herobrine's POV***
I woke up in a bed. My sides were aching, my head was pounding, and my mouth felt dry and pasty. I opened one eye to see Notch asleep in a chair, and I heard Steve talking in another room. I tried to remember what had happened... The last thing I coud remember was a huge explosion. I opened my other eye. Well, this wasn't our house. I shifted slightly and felt pain shoot up my side. I moaned in pain.
Notch bolted awake and Steve rushed in, another man on his heels. "How old is he again?", the other man asked. "18.", Steve replied. Notch walked up to me. "What hurts?", he asked, gently pressing on my side. I whimpered and flinched away. "Okay..", he said. He looked at the man and Steve. "I think its his ribs.", he said to them. "Naw duh.", I muttered through clenched teeth. Steve looked at me. "At least he still has his sarcasm.", he said, looking faintly amused.
The man walked over to me, and knelt down beside me. He held up a potion. "Brian", he started, "you're going to have to drink this potion. Then I'm going to try to heal your ribs.", he said slowly. "Okay?" I stared at the potion, not sure of this. I had never been exactly fond of potions, for sure after Steve made me his test subject one day. I stared at the potion worriedly. Steve stepped foward. "He has this thing about potions..." he said quietly.
"Don't worry.", the man said soothingly. "This potion is perfectly safe." I took a deep breath, and winced as my side hurt. "Ok...", I said softly. He poured th potion into my mouth. I felt the cool liquid slide down my throat. It tasted like...springtime. My vision started to go fuzzy, and I felt my eyes closing. I looked around the room. In the very corner I saw a black shape. I squinted. It looked almost....human. Notch and Steve walked by, going into the other room. The shape disaperred. My vision slowly dimmed. Then everything went dark.
I woke up back in the bed. I looked down to see that I was wearing a fresh shirt now. I pulled it up slightly to see bandages wrapped all around my torso. My side felt alot better, but I was still really thirsty. Suddenly Steve walked in the room. He let out a sigh of relief. "You're awake!", he said. "Notch! Jake! He's awake!", he called into the other room. So that was the other guys name. Notch and Jake stepped into the room. "You're awake!", Notch said. "How do you feel?', asked Jake. I thought for a moment. "Thirsty."
Jake laughed a little. "I'll get you some water." Jake left the room and came back in with a glass of water. He handed it to me, and I gulped it all down in on chug. He took the glass and left, then came back. He knelt beside the bed and took a deep breath. "What do you remember?, he asked, his face blank. Notch and Steve stepped closer, their faces grim. I looked at them strangely. "I...um..", I stuttered. "There...was an...army? And explosions...", I said uncertainly. "A-and we were running with-" Suddenly I broke off. I looked around the room, counting the people. A feeling of dread washed over me. "Wh..Where's Katie?", I said quielty, shaking.
Suddenly Steve put his head in his hands and walked out of the room. I felt my eyes widen and my breathing quickened. My heart started pounding. Jake put his hand on my shoulder. "Brian, calm down." I felt my breathing slow slightly, but my heart was still racing. Notch knelt down too. "Brian", he started, "Katie is dead."
"Dead?", I repeated. "N-no..." I stared off into space. I thought back to all the times we had done stuff together. Faintly in the back of my mind I heard: "Brian? Brian?" It sounded like Notch. "Leave him. He's going into shock." It sounded like Jake. I heard someone get up and leave. Someone else was still there. I heard them sigh. It was Notch. Notch. Notch. Suddenly memories came rushing back. Katie and Erik. The army. Our house and parents. Katie getting shot. An explosion. Katie getting stabbed. Katie falling....Notch stopping me. I felt everything go dark as I drifted off into my own memories and thoughts.
***Two weeks later***
Notch came into the room. I was sitting on a chair, staring off into space. "Brian, we're leaving.", he said. I turned around. "Leaving." My voice had no emotion in it. "Where?" He sighed. "To be honest, I don't know. We're just leaving. We can make our own town." I sighed. "Ok." I stood up; the only thing I felt in my side was a dull throb, and then it was gone. I was healing quickly.
A little while later we had food, water, and lots of wood to take along with us. We all had iron swords and pickaxes, and iron helmets. We thanked Jake for letting us stay and for giving us stuff. We walked for a couple days until we came to a large clearing in the forest. The whole journey there I hadn't eally talked much, I only talked if someone asked me something. I still didn't exactly talk much when we found the clearing.
We started building the town. First we started by chopping down more forest, then we built our house. We made a couple other houses, and some shops. I still didn't really talk. I could tell Notch and Steve were worried about me, but I didn't exactly care. About a year later, we had a small town. I was still in a depression. I was about 19 now, going on 20. My ribs still hurt every once in a while, I don't think I ever fully healed.
Most of the time (if I wasn't helping build the town), I just stayed in my room. I didn't sleep, I barely ate, and I started getting sick alot. I remember that most of the time when I got sick I would see the same shadowy figure. Maybe I was going crazy. Then one day, when I was sitting in my room:
"BRIAN! BRIAN!", Notch busted in, waving is arms around, his eyes huge. I jumped about a foot in the, gasping for breath. "Y-you sc-cared me...", I breathed out, staring at Notch. "Sorry, but this is important! I found a portal! Well, made a portal. With this thing called Purestone! I've been expeirementing alot!", he babbled. "Get to the point!",I yelled. "'I've discovered a new dimension!!"
I think you can all guess what happened after that. Notch and I went to "The Real World". I helped Notch make "Minecraft", the game. I became quite the computer guy. I can hack into almost anything now. I can erase everything from a computer and make it come back again. Although he would never admit it, I got better than Notch. I could hack into your governments system and turn a 3 year old into the president.
Anyways, I helped him make the game. I didn't get any credit though. After all, the game didn't come out until after I became....me. After that, I got alot happier and I wasn't as depressed. Well, I'm going to take a break from story telling. See you guys...whenever.
