I was going to get some payback after they hurt Liam, intentionally.

But that referee seems suspicious.

Obviously favoring Hiena for some reason.

Gotta get to bottom of this.

''...'' I was sitting quietly and listening to people talking around me, but for some reason, they were now quiet. I looked around me and they all looked in the same direction...

I looked to my right and saw one man approaching me with a slight smile.

He had long black hair, with cold grey eyes, pale face, and slim build with few muscles, but what was different from him was his legs, which seemed very agile, not too much muscle, but not too less either, perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

He arrived at my spot and looked at me with a slight smile and said. ''Yo.''

''Yo, so what do we owe this pleasure, Slych,'' I asked him, he was captain of team Armya, defending champion and team with the highest chance of victory and he was also the strongest middle school student in the country of Gensa. Slych Raften!

Club advisor and students around me looked at me with widened eyes, seeing me talking with Slych so casually.

Slych grinned and said.''I was bored, so I came here.'' He said and sat down next to me which usually had Lucas sitting, but he was now walking towards the arena, that is why it was empty.

''I understand, how is your day going?'' I asked him and Slych sat with relaxation and said. ''It has been fine, you?'' I shrugged my shoulders and said. ''Could be better.''

''Yeah, 2 warnings, that is not good.'' Slych grinned while looking at me.

''Hmph.'' I snorted.

''You want to know why the referee was favoring Hiena?'' Slych asked from me and I gave him a nod waiting for him to speak.

Slych opened his mouth and said.''That referee's surname is Ledorman, does it ring bells?''

I widened my eyes and asked. ''Like Mick?''

''Yes, but Hiena's team captain also has the surname Ledorman.'' Slych said and I nodded and answered.''I see now.''

''I am not sure what is their relationship because Ledorman is a quite popular surname in Hiena.'' Slych told.

''But that referee is obviously from Hiena.'' I said with cold eyes.

''Indeed, quite unlucky for the referee from Hiena to be a referee in your match against Hiena.'' Slych said and continued with slightly furrowed brows. ''Maybe tournament organizers made a slight mistake or it was intentional.''

''...'' I was sitting silently until Slych elbowed my waist and said. ''No need to think about too much, he can't do anything to decide the fight's outcome, he is only there to end the fight and not let anyone die.''

''I understand, thanks.'' I gave a nod of gratitude towards Slych, he grinned and said. ''No problem~''

'How the hell can Ichiro talk so casually with that monster.' Club advisor thought anxiously white scratching his head.

I looked at the referee coldly, I hate people like him. People always talk about fairness about these tournaments, but then one rotten apple always comes and ruins it.

Slych looked at me and said with a slight grin. ''Are you thinking about doing something to him.''

''Maybe,'' I said while shrugging my shoulders.
