Next day

Third person p.o.v.

The view from here was great, the birds were chirping and the leaves were changing their color. Y/N sighed and packed bottles of apple juice and followed Bakugo into the school building where their first period of Maths was about to begin, guess they weren't as late as they thought they were with about two and a half minutes to spare.

"Please remind me as to why I had to focus on this particular student?" The man stands in front of a table, placing his large hands on them, and folding them together after taking a seat.

"Miss L/N over here is an odd case, if I'm not wrong her parents had died in a car crash years ago. Right, Aizawa?" Said the man nodding as the principal continued.

"Right now she is under the care of the Bakugos, but back to what I had said earlier to you. It's a little odd honestly." The mix of the dog, mouse, and bear sips his tea before continuing.

"On her administration papers, it is said that her quirk is water manipulation, though I simply don't believe it."

"Why?" The number one hero sits in shock. "I don't see any problem with her quirk, that's the only quirk that she had been using." The man with heavy eye bags sighs. "Nezu's point is that her quirk doesn't match up."

"Her parents have quirks like healing and puppeteer, the question is where does the water manipulation quirk come in?" Aizawa taps his pen against the piece of paper presented in front of him.

"Now that you mention that..." The other two males in the room turn to face the blond, motioning for him to continue his sentence.

"During battle training...I had noticed Young L/N talking to herself, talking to someone called Jayla." The men stare in confusion. Jayla?

"And what was she talking about?" The blond sends the two men a dejected look. "I don't know, they were talking in English, and English isn't really my strong suit." They sigh and shake their heads. "Maybe next time we can catch this action next time, but with Mic in the room. We'll figure it out somehow, is that fine with you Mic?"

The other blond who had been sitting quietly in the room perks up and grins. "Yeah! No problem! I'll be the translator!" Nezu thanks Present Mic. "Anything else, All Might?" The man sighs.

"I think she has a feature of her water manipulation quirk that can control movement and restrict quirk activity..." All the teachers listened and widened their eyes in shock. A quirk restraining feature?

"Interesting, thank you All Might." The latter nods his head. "Now let's talk about what happened at lunch today. About how the press got past our gates-"

"Go back a few seconds, Nezu." The principal nods and scrolls a few seconds back. The h/c girl was spotted floating up to pipes along with another student.

"Are you sure this is her doing?" Silence. "What's the name of the lavender-haired boy?" A gruff voice asked from beside Present Mic, pointing to said child on the screen.

"Hitoshi Shinso."

"Class?"

"General Studies, 1C."

"Quirk?"

"Brainwashing." The gruff voice belonging to the homeroom teacher of class 1A sighs. "It's definitely not this kid's doing, don't think he has the ability to brainwash people into floating without a quirk that allows it." The teachers sit there in silence before Present Mic speaks up.

"But if it were her doing, where would the water be?" Midnight steps in. "Nezu has a point. I don't think a water quirk could form a floating platform that acts like an elevator that cannot be seen."

"Hold on there, Midnight." The teachers turn to face the other blond. "She can make the water particles not so visible to the human eye, she had used that as a trap during battle training."

"Maybe we can have a look at the clip of battle training in a bit, but for now we need to stay on the topic of the alarms going off during lunch. Doesn't it seem suspicious how the press got in?"

"It does...though if we scroll back to the security footage." The ravenette paused, yawning before continuing.

"You can see that at one point the wall separating is there," The principal pauses the clip. "And the next second it's gone." He sighs as he stares at the other teachers in the room.

"Do you think that a villain would have broken into the school?"

"I don't think that..." The lady hero muttered. "I believe that maybe the press had someone to use their quirk and sure they broke into the school, but as we know the press. They just want to get information, which I think-"

"That means that was their tactic to get information! They would interrogate the students!" Midnight nodded her head. "Exactly!" Brought back by a small squeak from the shortest man in the room, pointing to a clock in the room.

"I believe it is time for you all to teach your classes, we can continue this discussion sometime later today if not tomorrow." The teachers in the room nod their heads before exiting the room, halting at the door as they hear their boss clear their throat.

"Remember, keep an eye on the student. Don't make yourself look suspicious." They nod their heads before officially exiting the room, leaving the principal to his thoughts as he sips his tea. Lifting his pinky as he brings the teacup to his mouth.

"What a wonderful world of mysteries...isn't it?" The principal blows on his tea before sipping it, grabbing the teapot, and pouring some more tea until it overflows. Eyes glued to the screen, staring at the security footage that had been paused at the non-existent wall.
