The Hidden Crystal Ball 2: New secrets

Chapter 4. Dylan and Kyle

After Brandon's family had arrived and got settled in the resturant, Dylan and Kyle came with their parents. Dylan and Kyle's family got settled in too. "Excuse me," Brandon said to his parents. "I am going to go to the restroom to wash my hands." His parents nodded and Brandon got up and left. Little did he know that Dylan and Kyle were going to use the restroom too. All three of them met. Dylan's eyes were wide. So were Kyle's. "Oh my. You can walk?," Kyle asked Brandon. His voice was shaky and loud. People turned to see what had happened but then went back to their food. "Yeah. After you carelessly pushed me of the bridge, I was miserable for years. But that all changed," Brandon said. His voice was firm but calm.....scary calm. Kyle and Dylan listened wide eyed as Brandon told them the story about how his mom had found the crystal ball and how it showed an image of the boys going to the past and how it made Brandon be able to walk again. "Wow!," Dylan said. "It did that. Last summer, I admit, we were hiking and all the stuff you said happened. But I did not know that it granted wishes. It stopped going to the past?." "Yeah. A message appeared in the ball. But you guys are so mean and Kyle here is willing to kill. So I won't tell," Brandon said as if he was the boss if the world now that he could walk. "Please," Kyle pleaded. "I am so sorry for that. I regretted pushing you the minute I did it. Please! Tell us. It could be important. We might be able to help." "Yeah," Dylan said. "And Kyle doesn't kill." "Fine," Brandon said pretending to think. "The message said that the crystal ball was filled with new secrets and I think that if we want to bury it and get rid of it again, you guys need to come because you discovered it first." "Ok, so what's the plan," Dylan asked. They all thought about this. "I know. I will wish for the crystal ball to come back here. Then we can go inside the bathroom and sneak out the window. After that we can go back to our houses to get our bikes. It's getting late. We should leave now," Brandon said realizing that he had a good plan. They all agreed to this. So the three boys went inside the bathroom and when they were sure nobody else was in there they snuck out the window and jumped the fence in the back area. They went home. First to Dylan and Kyle's house and then to Brandon's. They got their bikes. Brandon wished for the crystal ball. After they got everything they needed. They started.
