Part 2 - Drop The Case

I'm here today at the police station where I work and I'm in front of my computer to finish the reports I didn't finish last night.

Ugh... Reports.

I don't want to do this, you know why? because of this my neck hurts and of course my eyes also

I prefer the one where we are catching criminals outside or maybe investigating

Yeah, that's what i like hehe..

Salute "Good morning Detective kim" kai said. He handed me a big brown envelope, what is this?, maybe related to our case right now

"What is this?" I asked. While looking at him

He didn't answer me, he just give a look that saying read-it-and-find-for-yourself.

I open the envelope and read it

"Chief. Jeon want us to give up the case and let the prosecutor finish the investigation" He said. I can feel that he was sad, who will not!!, we work hard on this case,without enough sleep,without enough eat etc.

"But Detective kim we are really closed to solved and catch the culprit already, We're not just going to give up, are we?"

"I will talk to Chief. Jeon don't worry, okay" I gave him a positive smile

"And after we talked let's have a meeting. tell them." I added. He nodded and smiled at me

"Yes, maam" kai bowed before going back to his own desk

I got startled when she threw an big brown envelope in my desk that i give one of her team earlier

Now i know why is she here

"What is this?"

"Brown envelope?"

"Are you crazy? You know how hard my team and I are working on this case, right? Then you want to give it up and leave it to the prosecutors, you're really losing your mind." Jennie yelled at me, doesn't she really respect her super intendent?, she's the one who's losing her head here and not me actually

Anyway...

"You have no right to yell at me, especially since we are at the station, remember that."

"Can we just give up into this case guys?, let's accept it already we can't solve this one." Jisoo said. She giving up that easy, god this girl. She doesn't even think about our hardship in this case

I just listened to them while spinning the ballpoint pen in my fingers

I don't know what to do with them, I'm getting a headache thinking how we can solve the case within a week, as we discussed with the chief
