He stood in front of the school gates, regretting he ever agreed. He sighed, taking a good long look at the building in front of him before entering his new school...
Mori Mori High school.
Walking through the hallways, he searched for the principal's office.
Students around him were busy talking to each other not even noticing the foreign face in the room.
In a way, luck was on his side.
Upon reaching the room, he pushed the door, gripping the strap of his bag nervously.
"Hello, I am the new student," He announced to the principal. Who sat on the other side of the table, busy doing some paperwork.
"Oh! Right, I was just waiting for you." The principal replied.
"Uh..."
Unfamiliar with the procedure, he stood there in silence.
"A kid should be here any minute to pick you up, he'll be your classmate." He smiled.
The door was slammed open, startling him. A kid with short blonde hair and blue eyes peaked his head through.
"Sorry, I'm late." He smiled before looking at the confused boy in the room, "Oh! You must be the new kid. Introductions can wait, for now, we need to head to class, the bell rang about two minutes ago." He grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room.
They briefly ran through the hallway before arriving at the class.
"Here we are, shall we?" The other boy asked.
"Ya..."
The homeroom teacher stood next to the desk waiting patiently. The blonde head walked back to his seat and sat down.
"Class this is the new student, please welcome him."
All eyes were on him now, waiting for him to continue. He made eye contact with the kid who he met just minutes ago, who gave him a reassuring smile which helped in a way.
"I'm Ueno Shou. I look forward to this year."

After the classes ended he tried finding his way to his dorm room but got lost.
He had moved to this school after his mom remarried, his new step-dad used to work at this school but even though he doesn't work here anymore, it was too late to pull him out from attending. Even though he doesn't get along with him, it would've been nice to see someone familiar.
Walking across campus he noticed the blonde kid from his class sitting on a bench. He caught sight of him as well and started walking towards him.
"Hey! Shou right? I'm Akemi, nice to meet you!" He smiled, "Are you lost? Maybe I can help you find your dorm."
He was a little intense for him but was relieved his classmate would help him find it.
"Uh yes... I'm at dorm 3 room 105?"
"That's close to my dorm! I'll take you there!" He dragged him by his arm to where he assumed was his dorm.

"Thank you," He told Akemi as they stood in front of his door.
"No problem, feel free to ask me any questions you have, I'm right across from you," He pointed at room number 110, "Later though, I have club activities."
