Jay flopped backwards onto his back "they're still alive... wow, I should ask if they have phones and where Red Bud is..." he got two papers and two envelopes, and sat at his desk. He wrote one letter for Shawn and sealed it with white wax, he saved the other paper and envelopes for later. "I'll mail this the next time I head into town" he pushed himself away from the desk to look out at the bay, a thunder storm was brewing. Jay got up and closed the glass windows that led to the balcony outside, but as he pulled his hands from the doors handles lighting struck the close to the balcony and the electricity from the bolt went through the handles and to his hands. The bolts energy ran through him, he jumped back scared from the sudden light "fuck!" he yelled in pain. He took deep breaths to ground the extra energy that traveled wildly through him. He huffed as he walked back to his desk and picked up his phone "I hope the weather gets better" he opened his phone and checked the weather for that week. He frowned seeing it was going to rain all week "I guess I'll wait until next week to mail the letter to Shawn" he closed the weather app and put his phone to sleep before putting it in his back pocket. Jay walked to his office and sat at the long desk with two monitors. He checked all of his notifications before putting on his headset and booting up Minecraft on one of the monitors, as it was starting up he got a notification from discord, he opened discord on the second monitor. It was a dm from his online friend, that he has been playing minecraft for the past year.

"Hey, you up to playing on our Minecraft server today?" the message from the user Inky_Dolls

"Yeah, I was just about to jump on" Jay replied, before he joined the server the two of them had been playing on for about six months. Another message came through discord, it was from the same user.

"Do you want to vc? We haven't done one in a while"

"Sure!" he replied as Inky_Dolls started a voice call. Jay joined "Hey, Inky!" He said with a smile.

"Hi, Thunder boi!" an enthusiastic male voice came through the headset. "Do we have everything for that bee cave?" Inky asked logging on the server.

"Almost, I still need more rose bushes and poppys" Jay said, looking through his inventory.

"I don't have any on me, so sounds like we're going on a flower hunt!" Inky said, as his character started running off.

"Yup! Wait up for me!" Jay laughed, as he chased Inky in Minecraft.

The two played for hours, but due to the different time zones Jay had to log off for the night, leaving Inky to play by himself. "Night Thunder! Sweet dreams!" Inky said before ending the call. He leaned back in his chair and looked at the box of letters. "I hope they write back soon" He got up and walked over to the box of letters, half had white wax seals while the other half had red wax seals. Shawn sighed "I miss you guys. I hope you're ok" he walked back to the computer and logged out of Minecraft. He stretched and walked to his bedroom door "I should get breakfast before Jamie shoves a lemon muffin in my mouth again" he laughed at the memory of it as he walked out of his room and walked down to the kitchen.

Shawn walked in and noticed that he and Anti were the only ones awake, "Hey Ant, are the others still asleep?" he asked, confused.

Anti was sitting on the counter "Hi Shawn, no they all left for a mini trip or something, so it's just me, you, and JJ who is passed out on the couch at the moment" xe replied in a friendlier tone then xe would have around anyone else.

Shawn walked to the pantry and got a plain bagel "huh, do you know how long they'll be gone for?" he said, walking to cabinets to get a plate. He opened the drawer under the cabinets to get a table knife and carefully cut the bagel in half.

Anti hopped off the counter so Shawn could make his breakfast "nope, they were gone before I woke up. They left a note but it didn't say anything about when they would return"
