(WERE BACK TO Y/N'S POV!)

The previous night, I had told Shoto everything. About how I got the scar around my eye, about how I murdered my father in cold blood, about my quirk. To my surprise, he understood. But I could tell that he felt guilty.. for what exactly I wasn't sure, but I could tell that he was blaming himself for something.

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. It wasn't my room at home, it wasn't my dorm room either.. I didn't particularly recognise anything around me except for-

"Oh, are you awake Y/N?"
I heard a deep voice beside me.

Confused, I turned to the direction of the voice.
A pair of blue and grey eyes met mine.

Shoto..? Oh thank God it wasn't just a dream.

I realised that my arms were wrapped around him and immediately pulled away as I apologised profusely.

He pulled me back in by my waist and kissed me on the forehead. "It's alright.." he chuckled.

I felt my face grow warm and redden at the sound of his voice.

"Do you wanna get up?" He asked brushing the hair from out of my face. I nodded slightly in response.

Just as I was about to leave his dorm to go and get ready for the day, a question sparked in my mind.

Shit.. how are we going to explain all of this?

"Hey Shoto?" I mumbled, just loud enough for him to hear. He looked at me with a curious expression and hummed in response.

I continued, "So like, are we gonna let the others know about us or.. it's just because, you know it might be pretty hard to explain the whole we knew each other since we were kids and then we got separated because I killed my dad and then spent years apart and finally reunited thing..."

He scratched the back of his head, "Uhh.. I actually hadn't thought of that."

Before he could say anything else, I shook my head, told him we would discuss it later and ran to my dorm room. I guess it would be a secret for now?

On my run to my room, I was stopped by a familiar set of horns and pink-fluffy hair.

"Hey girl!" She smirked at me, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh hey.." I mumbled, so quiet that she could barely hear.

"Sooooo... did you meet Todoroki yesterday?" She said in a cheeky tone as if she was implying something.

Shit does she know?

"Uh yeah he seems nice..?" I cleared my throat, trying not to sound nervous.

She squinted her eyes and her smirk became more noticeable. "Todoroki? Nice?! Nahhh. He's more... bland"

I raised an eyebrow.

Mina noticed my expression and continued, "He's not mean it's just like, he doesn't express much emotion." She giggled.

I chuckled awkwardly. "Okay well... i've gotta go alright?" I ran off before she could say anything else.

Arriving at my room, I saw that the door was opened. That's weird... I specifically remember shutting it..

I was about to enter the dorm to investigate when-

"Y/N!"

I screamed and on instinct threw who or whatever was behind me with my quirk into the wall. I turned to see who it was.

Izuku..

"SHIT IZUKU YOU CAN'T JUST JUMPSCARE ME LIKE THAT!" I yelled, quickly jumping to my senses and helping him up.

"Sorry Y/N, I didn't mean to startle you!" He scratched the back of his neck.

"It's fine just give me a warning next time." I responded. "Anyways, do you know why my door is opened?" I gestured towards the entrance of my room.

"Uh yeah.. actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about.." He sounded nervous.

I squinted my eyes slightly, waiting for him to continue.

He picked up on the cue and continued, "Last night some people in our class wanted to meet you so I came to check if you were awake but.. you weren't in your room.."

This isn't going where I think it is.. is it?

"Well everyone started to look for you and some people figured to ask Todoroki since he would've been the last one to talk to you and uhm.. well.. when we went to Todoroki's dorm.." He trailed off, rubbing his hands together nervously.

"Nooo!" I groaned.
"So you all saw?!"

He nodded, avoiding eye contact.

I face-palmed as I sighed. "Look, Izuku. Do you remember that boy I told you about a while back..? The one that you reminded me of?"

His eyes widened and I watched the realisation set in.

"Yeah.. that's Shoto." I mumbled.

He was at loss for words, completely dumbfounded. I could tell that he would have some questions later.

"Just promise me that you'll make up some excuse to what they all saw last night until Shoto and I can figure this out, alright?"

With the same shocked expression on his face, he nodded slowly and walked off.
