My eyes slowly started to open as I woke up.

I felt warm and gentle arms wrapped around me, and smiled as I remembered who it was.

"Morning, sleepyhead."
I heard a familiar deep voice.

I opened my eyes fully and saw none other than Shoto Todoroki, with his arms around me,
gently stroking my hair.

I blushed at the sight of him and nuzzled into his chest. I giggled softly, "Good morning"

He chuckled and gently kissed the top of my head, "How did you sleep after the storm?" I heard genuine care in his voice.

"Better after our talk, you have a way of getting me to calm down" I smiled at him.

"I'm glad, love." He spoke softly.

I chuckled, escaping from his embrace and getting on top of him, "What's with these names Shoto" I whined, dragging out my words as I wrapped my arms around him, digging my head into his neck.

He smiled and rested his hand on the back of my head "Oh do you not like these pet names honey?" he said in a teasing tone.

It was lucky that he couldn't see my face because I was bright red at this point. "No- No I like them, I like them" I giggled, turning my head and kissing him on the cheek.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
A loud noise at the door pulled us out of the moment.

"Y/N! I know you're in there! And you too Todoroki! Come out, everyones making breakfast!" Mina's voice called from outside of the room, not loud enough for other people to hear but just loud enough that Shoto and I could understand.

I sighed as I heard her walk away from the door and back to the elevator.

"She's the one you told, right?" Shoto asked as I got off of him and stood up.

"Yeah, I trust her though." I replied as Shoto got up as well.

I was walking towards the door to go to my dorm and have a quick shower before a firm
hand grabbed my arm.

As if he could read my mind, he said "Just shower in here, i'll grab your stuff for you"

I smirked, turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck, "You wanna join me?"

I watched as his face turned bright red, the most flustered expression i'd ever seen.

I laughed, "I'm joking, dummy! You should see the look on your face, you are BRIGHT red sir."

He rolled his eyes and laughed, covering his face in embarrassment. "I'll go- i'll go and grab your stuff for you" he stuttered, still blushing like crazy as he walked out of the room.

After I showered and got dressed, Shoto and I went down to where everyone else was gathered for breakfast.

"Heyyy lovebirds!" Mina teased as she walked over to us.

I scoffed, "What are you guys making?"

"Pancakes! And i'm going to make you eat some whether you like it or not!" She chuckled.

She dragged us over to the main group of people consisting of Izuku, Iida, Ochaco, Denki & Jirou.

"Ah! Todoroki, I was just trying to find you." Iida spoke.

"Why's that?" Shoto replied, seeing Iida shifted his mood slightly.

"I would like to apologise for yesterday, you are right, what everyone did was an invasion of privacy!" He announced.

The whole group collectively nodded, it seemed as if they had been talking about the subject before we arrived.

"You two are pretty close though.." Jirou chimed in.

I can tell it's going to be suuuch great fun hiding this from everyone.

Denki raised his eyebrows "Yeah, and haven't you like known each other for a day- OW!"

Mina smacked him on the head and cut him off "No, idiot! They've known each other for like years!"

I think Mina could tell that I was getting uncomfortable, so she changed the topic, "Anyways, Y/N follow me to the kitchen, I wanna see if Bakugou burnt the pancakes"

"Bakugou's cooking?! Who put him in charge of that?" I scoffed.

Mina giggled and dragged me over to the kitchen, leaving Shoto to talk to Iida and the rest of the group.

"Wow, i'm surprised you haven't started a fire." I said walking over to Bakugou, who was angrily flipping pancakes.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY SCAR-FACE" He shouted.

God I hate that name.

"Will you stop calling me that?!" I said with an irritated tone.

"You got a better name, dumbass?" He snarled.

"Dumbass is better, just stop calling me scar-face." I walked past him, not even waiting for a spiteful comeback.

Mina followed behind me and put her hand on my shoulder in order to stop me. "Hey, do you mind me asking about uhh.." she trailed off.

I knew what she was going to say, how could I not? My scar is something that's majorly affected my life, and it's the first thing people notice when they see me. I can't even bare to see my own face sometimes as every time I see that scar i'm reminded of that night.

When people usually ask me about my scar, I just tell them it's none of their business.

"My scar?" I finished her sentence.

But I couldn't do that to Mina.

She nodded hesitantly, as if she felt bad for asking the question.

"Well, as you can probably guess, i'm adopted. Izuku and I don't look alike in the slightest. Before I was adopted by that family, some... things happened...." Now I was the one trailing off.

Mina looked guilty, "It's alright, Y/N. You don't have to tell me."

She gave me a comforting hug before apologising, and we spent the rest of our time before school eating surprisingly good pancakes and talking.

I managed to escape the girls on our way to school and walked with Shoto instead.

"Are we doing like- hero stuff today?" I asked Shoto, the first day kind of sucked because we didn't get to do any hero work.

"Yeah, the sports festival is also soon so you'll have to train for that." He said turning his head to look at me.

"The sports festival? Could you help me train? I don't think you've really seen my quirk yet." I tried to hold back my smile.

He smirked, "Sure, I want to see what you can do."

Finally, we arrived at school, and made our way to class.
