8:44PM
We had already eaten dinner, and everyone in the dorms was settling down for the night. Some doing homework, some training and others resting in their rooms.
I was laying on Shoto's bed, switching through the channels on the TV while waiting for him to get out of the shower.
"Heavy rainfall and storms expected tonight in Musutafu" I heard as I switched to the weather channel
I sighed. Recently my fear of storms had been getting worse, every time there was thunder, lightning or heavy rain I would get flashbacks to that night.
The image of standing over my fathers dead body still lingered in my mind, the blood on my hands, the stinging pain around my eye. It's like every time I heard that crashing thunder I would relive the moment all over again.
I was awakened from my thoughts when I heard the bathroom door open.
I looked over at the door and made eye contact with Shoto, there were locks of semi-wet hair hanging over his face and I took notice of the uhh.. absence of a shirt.
I sat up and furrowed my eyebrows, "aren't you cold?"
He shook his head and gave me a warm smile as he sat down next to me, "My quirk, remember?"
"Yeah but that's only like one side right? So one half of you is gonna be fine and the other is going to have hypothermia." I smirked, trying to hold in my laugh.
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, kissing me on the forehead, "I'm sure you could warm me up."
I smiled and embraced him. Something about him was so comforting, every time I would be around him I would get this feeling that everything was going to be okay.
"Do you want to sleep in here again?" his deep voice filled my ears.
I nodded and let go of the hug, "Maybe you should lock your door this time, you know just incase they decide to be weirdos again?"
He nodded and got up to lock the door as I laid down in his bed.
"If they wanted to do that again they'd have to try pretty hard, these locks work really well." He said as he laid down next to me.
I giggled and wrapped my arms around him, resting my head on his chest.
"Goodnight, sweetheart." I heard as I drifted off to sleep.

BANG!I was awoken to the deafening sound of crashing thunder.
Great, just great.
I slowly left Shoto's embrace and attempted to not wake him as I left the room.
I walked to the kitchen, I could have sworn that the rain was getting heavier by the second.
I grabbed a glass of water and tried to calm myself down, my mind was racing, and I couldn't get those disturbing images out of my head.
I thought it would be a good idea to go out onto the porch, just to show myself that there was nothing to be afraid of.
I stepped outside and an overwhelming fear washed over me.
Don't be a pussy, Y/N.
I watched as lightning illuminated my surroundings, each flash or strike being followed by a low grumble of thunder.
I continued to stand there, watching the rain until I heard a familiar voice from behind me.
"It was storming that night, wasn't it?"
I turned around and locked eyes with Shoto, who was standing behind me with a dark blue hoodie on and his hands in his pockets.
"Shoto..?" I mumbled. I must have woken him up when I got out of bed.
He walked over to my side and wrapped an arm around my waist. "That night, before you stopped showing up to our spot, it was storming."
"Y/N i'm so sorry, I promised you that I would always be by your side, I promised you that we would always be together, and when you needed me the most I wasn't there."
"I made a promise to myself that I would never stop looking for you until the day I die.
Without you I felt like a piece of me was missing. Y/N you bring so much joy into my life, I can't even begin to describe how you make me feel, i'm so sorry that I wasn't there to protect you, I love you so much."I felt my eyes begin to water and quickly wrapped Shoto into the tightest embrace ever.
I sniffled, "You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about Shoto, it's not your fault my dad's such a dick.. I love you so much."
We let go of the embrace and looked into each other's eyes. He placed his hand on my cheek and wiped away my tears with his thumb.
I was comforted by that warm, gentle smile of his, I couldn't even hear the storm anymore, all that I was focused on was him.
It wasn't long until I felt soft lips press against mine, he was so gentle as he placed one of his hands on my waist and caressed my cheek with the other. I softly wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned further into the kiss.
We both let go of the kiss, and he nuzzled his head into the side of my neck.
After staying in the moment for a bit, he spoke in a comforting tone, "would you like to go back to bed now?"
I smiled and nodded, we both made our way back to his room.
Once I laid back down on his bed, I noticed that the storm had calmed down a little. I felt Shoto lay down next to me and not long after, I felt him embrace me.
We both drifted to sleep as we held each other.
