Jungkook left the mansion, he left with less than what he had brought, now he only had a backpack with some notebooks where he kept his designs and his drawing tablet. Walking, he went to his best friend's store; he was a tattoo artist who over the years became more and more recognized to the point of being able to live in the Delta City. They were friends since childhood, they both shared the same love for art, but with different tastes; They are so close that they studied together from elementary school until now in university.
After a long walk he arrived at the place, he went inside as if he was the owner, left his things at the reception and then went to where his best friend was tattooing a client.
"Oh, Hoseok. I thought you were free."
His friend stopped for a second and cleaned his client's skin before turning around. He laughed and shook his head in denial.
"Please tell me a day when I'm free? You know I'm always busy."
Jungkook let out a slight laugh and rolled his eyes at him as he sipped from a can of soda. He sat close to Hoseok to watch as he tattooed his client's thigh and sighed.
"Yeah, whatever. I was just going to tell you that I got a new project, they are members of the Kim Family"
Hoseok turned to see him again, his face was quite surprised at not believing that his best friend would do a work for that family.
"The Kims? Are you kidding me?"
Jungkook shook his head, he was calm as if the honor of working for the Kim Family was no big deal.
"It's not a joke, they contacted me thanks to the technical drawing teacher I had a while ago. He knows Mr. Kim's assistant, he showed him my portfolio and recommended me for the mural they want to do in their home."
Exalted, Hoseok shouted with great joy scaring his client a little for which he apologized.
"AH THAT'S SO COOL, JUNGKOOK... Oh, I'm so sorry... That's a great opportunity, you could be famous any time after that project! But... I don't understand why you're not excited, are they mean to you?"
Hoseok continued in his work as he listened to Jungkook talk so carefree and calm, he didn't understand how he could be so relaxed now having such a big responsibility for The Kim's.
"No, of course not! In fact, they were very sweet to me, I had met their son in a coffee shop a few days ago. He's... interesting, he told me to go see him tonight. He wants me to do a portrait of him too."
Jungkook spoke quietly, somewhat tired, lying on the sofa and hugged a pillow yawning at the end of his last words. He closed his eyes and simply stayed silent listening to the music that lightly set the store and the vibrating sounds of Hoseok's tattoo gun.
Hoseok was going to answer him but when he noticed him sleeping he decided to leave him alone since he knew how hard Jungkook works, he felt petty for him but at the same time he was proud of him for everything he has done for his mother.
Hours passed and Jungkook was still there sleeping, it was nine o'clock at night and Hoseok had finished closing his store about thirty minutes before. He walked over to Jungkook and hit him lightly on the head using the pillow he was hugging.
"Hey princess, get up! I have to go."
Jungkook complained, stretching, and opening his slightly swollen eyes from how much he had rested. He sat down with his messy hair and combed it as best he could using his hands, got up taking his things and put on his backpack.
