"What are you doing here?" A voice broke through the silence. It sounded curious, but heavy with anticipation. I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath, before turning towards the sound. Nothing. Only shadows surrounded me. I frowned, feeling confused.
"You told me to come here."
"Did I?" The voice now came from behind. I twisted around on my heels, but once again I was met with shadows. He was mocking me.
"I thought..." I started, but his laughter cut off my words.
"Let me do the thinking around here. After all, I'm much better at it." I scowled, my eyes shifting to his voice. I was drawn to him, my body was tingling.
"Now tell me." His voice suddenly whispered in my ear, his breath hot on my neck. A shiver ran down my spine and my breath hitched. "Why are you here exactly? And don't lie." His finger trailed over my arm, his nail scratching my skin. "I will know when you lie."
I swallowed hard, before turning around quickly. He wasn't there anymore. Just the thin red line on my arm as proof I wasn't completely crazy.
"You know why I'm here." My voice sounded weak and small, but still it echoed through the room.
"I do, but I want to hear you say it." I hated not being able to see him. I spun around again, trying to pinpoint his location. Every time I thought I saw him, he slipped from view. He was driving me crazy.
"Stop playing games, Jester. Show yourself!" I was feeling frustrated, my hands in fists.
Suddenly he was there. He emerged from the shadows right in front of me. With deliberate slow steps he walked towards me. My heart started pounding as his yellow eyes glared at me. He didn't stop when he reached me, pushing me back with his body, until my back hit the wall. I gasped.
"Making demands now, hm? Are you really that brave?" I wanted to shake my head, but I was entranced by his eyes. Instead, I tried to focus on my breathing. His hand curled around my throat, his head cocking to the side. Even though he didn't apply any pressure, I felt like I couldn't breathe as I stared up at him.
"And now there are two questions you haven't answered. Is there something wrong with your mouth?" His eyes shifted down to my slightly parted lips. "Because I fully intent on using it tonight."
"N-no." My voice was barely more than a whisper. He grinned, flashing his sharp teeth.
"Let me try again. Why are you here, princess?" I knew he wasn't very patient, and I did not want to get on his bad side.
"Because I need you. I need to get out of my head."
"And you think I can help you with that? Use your words," he said, after I started nodding.
"Yes, sir." He growled softly, it almost sounded like purring. "You told me to find you if... when... I needed it."
"So you are here to do what exactly? Talk to me or submit to me?" I felt my face heat up as my cheeks flushed. He knew why I was here. If I wanted to talk, I'd find someone else. His eyebrow raised as he looked me up and down.
"I'm here to submit." He let go of my throat and took a tiny step back, just so he wasn't touching me anymore.
"Then show me how good girls submit." Goosebumps rose at his casual use of the words Good Girl. He knew I craved hearing those. I immediately dropped to my knees and looked down at the floor. He didn't give me much space.
