"What now?"
"Wanna eat lunch with me?"
"Not hungry." The boy named Kisaki mumbled as his stomach rumbled in protest.
Giggling at this, the questioner grabbed Kisaki's hand and led him to the roof of their school building.
"You can eat my food! I'm not very hungry so go ahead."
"It isn't poisoned, is it?" Kisaki asked.
"Of course not! Why would I do that? I'm not a killer!"
Kisaki, deciding not to respond, grabbed the other boy's food and started eating it cautiously. He looked at the shorter boy with curiosity, not used to the kindness.
"What's your name? And how do you know mine?"
"This girl named Hina came up to me asking if I could befriend you! Of course, being the nice guy I am, agreed. Oh, and you can call me Rin."
"Nice to meet you, Rin."
"Back at you!"
Thus, a new friendship began.
