Yukino went to her class that afternoon, she was walking to her class when she caught sight of him briefly, walking in the hall with his friends but she said nothing to him. Aki was with her and he looked at her with a smile.
"Why don't you talk to him?" Aki asked her as they walked pasted Hayden, Yukino smiled as she shake her head
"I don't wish to intrude into his life more than I've done." Yukino said to Aki who shook his head at her, it was the first time he had seen someone like Yukino; someone who love so quietly without expecting them to love her back when she has all the right to receive love back as well.
The two of them walked to their class, they walk to their seats. The two of them sat together in the back roll of the class with a few more friends but since they came early, once the two of them sat down and took out their things, Aki turned to her
"Have you confessed to him that you like him?" Aki asked her
"Why should I?" Yukino asked him and he smile
"Because you like him." Aki said to her and she chuckled
"You don't have to tell the other how you feel to love them, I've liked him since I was younger but he doesn't even know that I existed, why should I impose on him to like me back? Love is something that you shouldn't be selfish with, love is giving and not expecting anything in return." Yukino said to Aki who stared at her for a long time
"........That's another way you can look at love, but I've never looked at it that way before." Aki said to her and Yukino smiled
"When you fall in love, maybe you'll understand." Yukino said to Aki and soon class started and soon ended, they went out to their other class, and soon enough it was the end of their days.
As they were walking out of the school campus, they were planning to go out tonight for some drinks but they were stopped by Hayden.
"Where are you going?" Hayden asked her as they were reaching the school gate, Yukino turned around with a smile
"Hayden!" Yukino called out to him and rushed over to his side, he looked at her without any emotions but she still smile at him.
"Yukino is going out with some friends tonight. I won't be home for dinner." Yukino said to Hayden who glared at Aki.
"Was this your idea?" Hayden asked Aki, even though there were many people in their group but Hayden seem to only ask Aki, Aki smiled at Hayden.
"You could say that today is the end of our group project and we did pretty well. So, we're going to go out to celebrate tonight." Aki said to Hayden
"........." Yukino stare at Hayden for a long while and Hayden stared back at her, too. Hayden took a deep breath and let out a sigh
"Fine, you can go." Hayden said to Yukino and she smile from ear to ear.
"Thank you!" Yukino said to Hayden and she turned away from him and she left with her group of friends with a smile on her face. Hayden didn't want to watch her leave him behind even though she was just with him but he didn't want to give her the wrong idea from him so he just went back to his car and drove home.
That night he had dinner with his father and he went back to his room to work on his own homework, when he was done it was almost midnight and Yukino wasn't home yet. Hayden went down to the living room and the maid approach him.
"Did you need something, young master?" the maid asked him but Hayden shook his head
"Did Yukino come back yet?" Hayden asked the maid who shook her head
"Let me know when she comes back." Hayden said to the maid and he headed back to his room, looking out the window but she didn't come back until 30 minutes later. The so call Aki person was the one that walked her back to the house, the two were talking happily.
He walks out of his room and he could hear them talking
"Thank you for sending me back." Yukino said
"No worries. Have a good night." Aki said to her and the two of them hugged
"Have a good night." Yukino said to him
"Good night, see you tomorrow." Aki said to her and walked out of the house, Yukino smiled at the maid.
"Did the master and young master already retired to their room?" Yukino asked the maid and she nodded
"The young master had asked me to let him know when you return, why don't I walk you to your room, I'll also tell the young master that you've returned as well." The maid said to her but Yukino shook her head
"No need to walk me up. You go ahead and go to bed, I'll go up and let him know that I've come back." Yukino said to the maid and she headed up the stairs to the second floor, she met him standing at the stairway.
"Hayden." Yukino called out to him
"Go to bed, it's already late." Hayden said to her and Yukino nodded
"Have a good night." Yukino said to Hayden and headed to bed, once he saw that she was back, Hayden went to bed.
Hayden watched her from afar every day, as each day passed he became more obsessed and possessive of her, he wanted her to look only at him and he wanted her to spend her time with him only but that was not what she did. She spent more and more days away from him and his house, as he was waiting for her one night, Aki took her home once more.
"Where were you?" Hayden asked her but Yukino only smile at him
"I went out with Aki." Yukino said and she turned around to bid farewell to Aki.
"Good night Aki, I'll see you tomorrow." Yukino said and hugged him, Hayden had never felt like this before and he hated Aki more than anything right now because lately she only talks about him and goes out often with him as well.
Yukino had been living with him and his father for over 6 months now, Hayden had not heard her mention anything about their marriage that she was supposed to be here for so he never brought it up to her, not knowing that she was going to return home soon.
