Ava, Sara,and the rest of the legends are in the mall shopping for food and clothes. Zari's birthday is next week and Sara and Ava are grabbing decorations from party city. Mick is eating all the samples. Charlie and Berard are playing rock, paper, scissors. Astra and Spooner are laughing about an inside joke. Nate and Zari are looking at clothes.

Ava's pov:

" Babe what else do we need" I say pushing a full basket of decorations and holding Sara's hand. " I think we have everything" Sara replies. "okay" I say. We walk to to register and pay for the decorations. We take the bags to the car and go back inside the mall.

We walk around the mall in different stores and look at different outfits. Sara picks out a scandalous outfit and puts it in front of me. I can tell she is picturing me inside of it. "what are you doing?" I ask her while smiling. " oh, nothing" she says "totally" not suspiciously.

She puts the outfit in the basket. We go and find a few more outfits and go to find the rest of the team. "finally you guys are here" Nate says. "shut up" Sara says and wraps her arms around my waist. I smile. " get a room" Rory says while eating a sandwich. The rest of the team agrees. I roll my eyes. " we didn't tell you guys to stare" I say.

After an hour, Me, Sara, and the rest of the team go to a restaurant in the mall. I order the food and then I go to our table and sit beside Sara. She looks at me and smiles. Her smile makes me smile. The rest of the team is debating on something and me and Sara just listens.

Sara's pov:

I sit one of my hands on the table so that I can rest my face in my palm. I use my other hand on Ava's leg while she's laughing at a joke Zari made. I start to move hand up her leg. " what are you doing" she whispers in my ear. "nothing, just keep paying attention to them" I say referring to the team. " I can't pay attention to them when your doing that." she says.

" What are you guys talking about?" Ray asks. "nothing important" I say. "okay" ray replies back.

Everyone one leaves the mall. "call me when you guys make it home"Zari says. "okay" Ava replies. "do you think its a great idea for Charlie and Rory to drive together?" Ava asks Sara. "idk" Sara replies. Ava waves bye to everyone and gets inside the car. Sara gets on the passenger side of the car.

Ava's pov;

I start the car and I put on my seat belt. I look towards Sara. "put on your seat belt" I tell her. "babe the drive home from here isn't even that long" she says. "Sara, Its a 35 minute drive" I say. " like I said, its not a long drive" she replies. I turn off the car. " okay we're not leaving until you put it on" I tell her. I don't know why she hates wearing seat belts, she never wears it when shes driving either.

She rolls her eyes and puts on her seat belt. " happy?" she asks sarcastically."yup" I say and smile. I start the car and we start driving home.
